A lady is "advertising" everytime she posts in non-ad forums, but that's no different than any other business where increased product awareness can lead to increased sales. The process backfires when the posts are, shall we say, not well thought out, or iLLiTRiT, or hostile, or drama-inducing. But when the posts are interesting, or thoughtful, or entertaining, they probably help the lady's business, and that's okay.

Entertaining is easy, though in a lot of instances I think it's accidental and unintended. The gold is in interesting and thoughtful - and I'd add witty.

Well, this is a most interesting discussion....

We certainly do not lack for opinions on what and how and who should post.

We do try to point out and deal with threADs, but we are not perfect - as may will point out.

Allison's post, while kinda a threAD - was meant to inform, and she didn't do it (I assume - and Yes I know what that means) to just garner attention. She is not a overly frequent poster. We do have our share of threADs meant to be "Look at me" and are blatant. Those are the ones we try and coach or remove if they do not get the message.

Any provider worth her salt will have her contact info in their Sig Line, and yes, anytime they post it is a mini ad. It is when they post that they have a Sink in their incall, just got P411 or now do outcall to the next street over that it becomes a threAD. We have a lot of new ladies that do not read the forum rules, and just post away - we should be trying to guide them, not tear into them. They will make their personalities and intelligence known from how they follow the directions.

If it is an ongoing thing - push the little red and while triangular RTM button and we will work with them. Please leave the moderation to us, and the enjoyment of the hobby to you and the ladies.

This is not a perfect world or a perfect site - we get new folks in all the time that do not drive on the right side of the road, do not worship as we do, do not like CBJ or DATY or B&D or toe sucking or whatever... We can all live here if we all play civil society and do not take comments personally or do not sink to name calling or personal attacks. WALDT - that is the basis on why there are many ladies here and why they offer different services. Let's all keep that in mind as we read, post and interact.

As a matter of fact I do have a sink in my incall!! I guess I'm a Mrs. Dash kinda girl though. Sig lines are for the weak.

I agree with the OP though. It makes the ladies look like they think they have a "better than thou" attitude. That's some pretty sour salt in my opinion.

As far as I can see Allison's post did give information. If her phone was indeed out for a week then her posting this info was warranted. She apologized to anyone she had missed.
I have seen other posts in the coeds giving similar info without all the hoopla. Hell there wouldn't be this much over the thread in question if the Op hadn't started this damn thread.

Which in itself is a waste.
Most posts and threads that we read on here are not life altering and should just be taken as a guilty pleasure or an ad or whatever.
People being awfully serious about nothing in my opinion.
