Randy White's isnt bad. But its also not a knock your socks off kind of place either! Only reason I mention it is I talked shit about the Cowboys while he was sitting next to me at a bar. My buddy introduced me to him and he shook my hand and gave me a little shit. DAMN his fucking meat hooks are HUGE!!!

Gilley's of Urban Cowboy fame was in Houston, not DFW, and I believe the original closed years ago. For the true cowboy bar experience, the Fort Worth Stockyards is the place to go.

History lesson: Gilley's was in Pasadena. A true shit hole when Mickey had it burn to the ground. Even in the 80's it was a dump. We used to call it a pressure cooker ... women would have their boyfriends/husbands go get them a beer and then they would go out the parking lot a get fucked. No real cowboys were there, just the urban variety.
