Bobo pretty much framed it up as it should be. Trusted friend....trusted family member. And that's it. Expanding your field further than that increases probability of failure.

I've helped out somebody before by pre paying for a session and it worked out just fine. I would never give more than the cost of a single session. At the very most I would be out the cost of a single session and I could live with that knowing that at least I tried to help somebody.

The biggest problem I found with this was not getting ripped off but the provider thinking this was an OK thing to do more and more. Then I was stuck having to find a way to not keep pre paying without ruining a pretty good thing I had going with her BCD.

I figured if I fronted somebody I see every couple of weeks 100-200 it would defy logic for her to not repay in services and lose potentially years of a regular client. But again I would NEVER front more than the cost of a single session and of course only with someone I have a history with.
