A problem was you had folks who for most of their lives were on the government tit (employed by some government) and they don't have a clue about running a business, making a profit, and/or creating employment....WITHOUT TAXPAYERS' SUBSIDIES.

So would you say if they had sons would they resemble Obama?

Enrollees Gaming Obamacare Drive Claim Costs Through the Roof

Enroll when you get sick and then drop coverage

The New York Times is reporting that the Obama administration has created more than 30 “special enrollment” categories allowing folks to enroll in Obamacare outside of a normal enrollment period. That has allowed people to wait until they become ill or need medical services to sign up, driving up costs significantly.

Individuals enrolled through these special enrollment periods are utilizing up to 55 percent more services than their open enrollment counterparts.

It leaves individuals with no incentive to enroll in coverage during open enrollment as most can simply wait until they are sick or need services before enrolling and drop coverage immediately after receiving services.

And some of these special enrollment qualifiers are far less than ironclad. Consumers may, for example, be eligible for a special enrollment period in “exceptional circumstances” and in “other situations determined appropriate” by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services. The circumstances may include “a serious medical condition” or “misinformation” about a healthcare plan that interfered with normal plan enrollment.

Full story from NYT.

Everyone wants some R&R at least occasionally for the therapeutic regeneration of the peace of mind, and some find enhanced therapy in giving generously of their time and effort when there is present a desiring recipient!

Bernie Sanders said that all that money and we still have 29 million Americans without health insurance. Some triumph...

You are talking about a totally different topic("Group Plans"). You are talking about when a policy holder of a group plan (instead of individual plan) submits a claim and if his policy will cover the claim that was submitted. The claim could fall outside the "Ten minimum benefits" which all health insurance policies must have because of the ACA. I was talking about when an individual submits an application for heath insurance to become a policy holder. One more time you "FUCKING IDIOT" before the ACA was passed it was perfectly legal for health insurance companies to not sell a policy to someone with a pre-existing condition like cancer. Once again LLIDIOT proves he's an IDIOT. Try thinking before you post dumbass.

PPACA to cover 40% fewer than CBO projected 10 months ago

More employees pushed into Medicaid where health outcomes don't improve; not PPACA Exchanges

CBO: The ACA reduces people's incentive to work, thereby further diminishing the U.S. labor participation rate

Deductibles so high for many on PPACA Exchange plans, they cannot afford care

So the cost is $153,000 per head? Well the cost to get your appendix taken out is $60,000. The cost for a long term illness could reach 1 million. Health Care is not going to be cheap you fucking MORON. Doctors and nurses don't work for free. Now go back Bre-bart and find some more bullshit to post.

well, look here, a cold blooded libtard slithered out from under his obammyrock.

dazzle us with the blinding light of your "superior" libtard intellect and show something actually positive about ACA? think you can do that?

don't bother with any talk that "more people have healthcare" .. obama made it mandatory so that's not an "accomplishment".

Many in the state of Kentucky would disagree with you. Over 300,000 people in the state of Kentucky got health insurance due to the passing of the ACA law. Many got health insurance for the very first time.

Do you even realize what you are saying? The Coop lost money because the ratio of their high risk policy holder to their low risk policy holders was high( unbalanced risk pool). The end result was CLAIMS paid out far exceeded premiums collected. When that happens the insurance company loses money (it doesn't matter what is being insured). We have already covered unbalanced risk pools.

The point I was making in the other post was that in the STATE OF KENTUCKY the percentage insured increased with the passing of the ACA law. A lot of folks got health insurance for the VERY FIRST TIME.
