Peter asked to be hung upside down on the cross they were to crucify

If you ever wonder why so many were looking for the Jewish Messiah
at the time of Jesus, Danial's 70 weeks foretells of the time that
the messiah was suppose to appear over 400 years before Jesus.

When calculated to the day and hour, it is when Jesus rode into
Jerusalem on the donkey.

One Jewish scholar even pronounced a curse on anyone who reads
the text in Danial's prophecy and realizes that the the time has already
passed.

There is plenty on the internet about Danial's 70 weeks, do some
research for yourselves, I didn't take yall to raise.
None of that is independently provable. The Bible is the Word of God because Pagan Emperor Constantine said so. A lot of evangelicals twist truth and lie to make the numbers come out, but there is no independent evidence of any of this.

I have been reliably informed that the usage of the word "ret*rded" is hate speech. I am sure that WTF didn't know that but ..... we have to wonder. Is it possible that he was really unaware? I will defend WTF for his bad manners on this one. He probably didn't know. I have to say probably because I really don't KNOW what is in his heart.

The old Constantine angle doesn't work, a little research shows that,
and Danial's 70 weeks can be rather easily calculated.

Also there's Danial's prophecy about the rise of the Medo Persian Empire
and Greece's Alexander The Great, when Danial lived back in the Babylonian
period. Know one knows what to say about that one, except to avoid
discussing it.

You know, we Jews are responsible for a Large portion of the Christian Bible, but I was never taught it was the word of God.

Are you saying you believe the Bible to be the Word of God? You realize it was formed by a committee selected by Constantine, a pagan.

What I KNOW is there are two places in Jersulem that claim to be the spot where Jesus was crucified. To quote a movie; there can be only one! One spot, the Church of the Holy Sepulchre, was picked out by the wife of an emperor who relied on the word of her servant. I happen to think that site inside the city is wrong. The other site is outside the gates and near a quarry. That sounds like where an execution would happen.

Ugh, I said I didn't take you people to raise and I'm feeling
lazy today so here is the short version.

Yes Constantine help to canonize a bible, sounds simple doesn't
it, not so much.

There are basically the books that are now included in the new testament
and what are know as the Gnostic Gospels, (do I have to go into a
long explanation of who the Gnostic's were) that is all there is, the
Gnostic writings were considered false by the early church fathers,
One doesn't have to read very far into them to see why. and the
authorship of them was more than a little bit questionable.

The included books were around before Constantine and were already
considered to be the true Gospels. There are complete examples and
near complete examples that pre date Constantine and no proof
that they were rewritten by anyone.

Just because Constantine was involved in the gathering together
of books to be included into a bible proves nothing and lends no
credit or discredit to anything.

Like I said you basically have the books that are now included in the
bible and the Gnostic writings, and that is all there is or ever was.

The only exception are a few apocryphal writings that aren't
considered Gnostic but who's authenticity as been questioned.

Again any idea that Constantine had any of the books rewritten
has no credibility because of pre Constantine copies and the earlier
known and accepted beliefs about who and what Jesus was.

Or maybe they ignored me because they realize they don't really have a sound, logical response to their logical dilemma.

When people here don't have a logical response, they do one of two things. They either ignore you, or they do what you're doing right now.

If i was craving attention, i'd have 40 posts here in the last 3 days like you. If i craved attention, i'd start about 10 threads a day, no matter how ridiculous they were.

I was making a point. You don't like the way i decided to go about it, tough shit.
