Not sure but last I checked it wasn't a either/or. I know people that post on several sites. I'll be one of them. I like this site. Liked it so much I actuall paid money to join it. I liked the other too.

In my view double dealing moderation is what drives people from one site to another. Competition should be good for posters in that regard. Let's hope they do not share moderators!

Why are you projecting the actions of someone deceased onto her family members and friends?

How are the actions of someone deceased relevant to the credibility of Deuce or Angelimnot?

My family has no input on my estate planning. Nor do I have any on that of my Mother who will be leaving behind quite a mess of her own by her refusal to deal with her own mortality.

Amen.... There is no way anybody can take the time to handle more than one of these sites nor do I believe they can switch hats from one site to the other where sites have different philosophies....

Because plans for a family business should be talked about in advance, if it's desired that the business enterprise be ongoing, especially when it's known that the family member/owner is dying.

The post is above in this same thread. However, Angelimnot deleted her post after my response was posted. Since most everything I've said on this matter is contained in this thread, I'll invite you to find one single sentence that suggests "bashing" or that it's my feeling that the "surviving family should cowtow and kiss my ass."

Class, like beauty, is in the eyes of the beholder. I've got my opinions regarding class, but I think it's probably more important to stick to facts here.

I'm sure the mods on the E (is it the "E," if it's not the P or the Y?) are fair and considerate people. I have nothing but glowing things to say about mods on the former P, the E, and here. They've got a tough job as I see it, and they do a stellar job.

Regarding my trying to goad anyone into responding to this thread, listen up! I ain't joining ERAPS, end of story; I ain't responding to (nor starting) any more posts about "that other woman" known as ERAPS. If you want to, have at it.

To be clear, ASPD was closed as a result of the outing of ownership's family members. That despicable act, clearly intended to close ASPD, was the only conspiracy involved in the closing of ASPD. The scumbag or scumbags responsible for that despicable act of outing would be alone in any attempt to "hoodwink" anyone.

Quite frankly, there were those of us in the community, both on and off the staff at ASPD then or ERAPS now, that were not willing to accept that 10 years of history, data, and effort would be lost due to the anonymous act of one or more individuals willing to do anything it took to make it go away.
Rather than accept that it would all end that way, we chose to try and do something instead of nothing. We spent the time, effort, and money to not only save the database, but to reproduce it in an updated format with different ownership, staff, and philosophy.
We chose to try and provide the information instead of letting it disappear forever.

With all due respect, there were threads on ASPD, eccie, and every other site on the procedure for contacting Verotel about requesting refunds for what was lost due to the closing of ASPD at the hands of those outing the family members of ASPD's ownership.
ERAPS doesn't claim anyone owes them anything, but it's hard for me to understand how ERAPS owes a debt to ASPD's Verotel customers. How would ERAPS verify that someone did NOT have any funds paid to Verotel refunded to them?
In any event, I've stated that any such people could contact me through ERAPS to discuss their particular situation. To this point, not a single person has contacted me.

When we began the effort to restore the database, we did not know for sure the extent to which we would be able to do it and in what form it would be. It was a difficult task and we held our breathe all along the way. That effort alone is one major difference between ERAPS and ASPD. That was something promised by ASPD for literally years that was never done.

ahh... But NOONE HAS to pay.... They have stated that they will grant 2 mnths BCD access for 1 review and will announce plans for continued earned BCD access....
