I have it on good authority that Biomed hates KC BBQ. The slathered sauce has him reaching for Bismol. He would crave REAL BBQ from Texas, however.

Hmmm.. I had no idea that Sir Biomed hated KC BBQ... I am a huge fan of BBQ from all over the states and KC has some of my favorites but, I think that he has been misinformed because not all BBQ in KC is WET...as in Q49 (A favorite place of mine that reminds me of Mississippi BBQ though because of their chicken and the flavor of their sauces..)

But, Jack Stacks, serves their meat dry and with their sauces on the side... This is a delightful way to experience the meat and the sauces...I love the atmosphere, BBQ and the sides at jack stack and poor Ninster is constantly having to tell my men that I am MIA because I am at Jack Stacks...lol 😂

And a tour to KC would not be complete without a to go bag from KC Joe's.. I'm in love with their burnt ends... THEY LITERALLY CURL MY TOES they are so good...v they are also served without sauce and you pick from your favorite Joe's sauce... And while, I could eat Joe's DELICIOUS SAMMICHES...THE Z MAN...IT has BBQ, ONION RINGS, cheese and homemade kaiser rolls hot, fresh and ready!!. No one in Texas beats those SAMMICHES.. SOORY...LOL 😂

On my last tour... I stayed in a slightly lower end hotel because it was rumored that the cook at the restaurant knew how to BBQ...THEY DID and there was a small BBQ JOINT right behind the hotel that had won awards and was compared to KC Joe's... I was in heaven...sigh...

The only DOWNSIDE to touring is i only get like one meal a day...lol 😂

Biomed will need to let us know what BBQ places he likes but I'm not insulting him by sending him TEXAS BBQ and I live here...

What are his thoughts on St. Louis BBQ? Lol 😉

(I only know of one BBQ joint from there...Pappy's Smokehouse... they have a Huge PINK PIGGIE on the top and I could have SWORN that I saw TSWD in a DRESS riding that pig on my way out of town on my last tour..😎

But, that could have been a figment of my BBQ hazed imagination...👗🙃🌈

If so I've known those folks for more than a couple decades, dating back to my hotel mgmnt days. Heavy into the bbq competitions. They still drop an excellent plate. The man himself died of cancer two yrs ago, but the team keeps going.

Bio does have a rare sense of humor.
As for bbq, well, he's not from Missouri.
Btw, KC bbq is better than STL, and way better than Texas. Memphis is just a smidge better than KC cause of moisture content, but some Memphis shops go way to much artificially sweet.
My fav is molasses based drippings during the cook.
And yes I'm on a team. One of ECG's corn and molasses fed critters will be turned into brisket (and a few other things) for the cookout at Arrowhead Stadium next month after we get back from the Illinois shows.

I forgot to put my glasses on while writing all of that... Doh!!🤦♀️

Q39 is a HUGE FAV despite the small tables but I love the vibe in the restaurant and I am a huge fan of their chicken and their ribs!!❤️

I try to get their BBQ as I arrive in KC... That is my preference... Then, I will try to take a night off to go to Jack Stacks for a night because I love the ambiance and they have a 3 rib plate that I enjoy and I pair it with a glass of wine and I read a book...

Obviously, I cannot eat all of this so, I travel with a great travel cooler and I stay in rooms with a microwave and I make sure to get KC Joe's and several of my men have offered to take me to the big competition in November? I think that is when it is...because, they all know how much I love BBQ..

Nina, has had clients get mad because I am not available because I am OFF trying a NEW PLACE...LOL 😂

She will tell them to look at my Twitter because the CRAZY SKINNY GIRL LOVES TO EAT BBQ... It's true... I do... And I have a LIST A MILE LONG of KC BBQ places that I want to try... Sigh...

NO ONE BEATS KC BBQ... I usually come home with a few BOXES OF BBQ sauces from my favorite places and I've been INFORMED that I have a SERIOUS PROBLEM from my MEN...LOL 😂

I agree on the STL BBQ... I tried the one BBQ place at my men's insistence and they were feeling jealous over my love of KC BBQ... They get mad that when I do 3 week tours I will stop in KC more...this is WHY...I make no apologies...

I do love my Texas men...but I have my BBQ shipped in ... I only eat steak and Mexican food hear...lol (I am going to get yelled at in a minute but I am also a KC Chiefs & Packers fan so, I am used to the drama... 😈

I am not sure what happened to my Pom Poms at my last stay in band camp.. I may have left them behind to boost morale for the next person...WD may have stolen them from me when he was there... I heard that Trixie liked Pom poms..🤨

I would prefer not to have Biomed send me back though... I'm on the honor system and I have promised to behave myself... I have pinky-promised sweared that I will be on my BEST BEHAVIOR!!❤️
