Sorry for your troubles..
Im incall only, and sometimes i have guys show up late, mostly due to traffic, i always ask are you sure , especially if i know what area they are driving from. If they show up 10 minutes late, and i know what route they took, i don't make a fuss. Its one road that has i swear every stop light is red every single time you come to it.
I had have done acouple of outcalls, i don't show up late unless they didn't give me good directions, around the corner and two lights over is not the same thing as a 10 miles from my house.
I hope your search and experiences get better.

I think tardiness without a valid excuse is rude and disrespectful. Be it the client or the provider, just be considerate of someone else's time. I know things happen and it's no one's fault at times but some people are just irresponsible and don't consider the other party. It's one of my pet peeves also.

I only do incalls so never had this issue. I can say that no one has ever called and had me say, "Can you give me 15 minutes and just ride around while I finish getting ready." I am normally ready a half hour prior and sitting around playing on facebook, waiting for the "I am here" call. All has to do with being a professional. References are no exception. Can't tell you the number of high priced, so called elite companions who can't even return an email when asked for a reference. Not as bad in some areas as others, but that should never occur. If you don't have a blackberry or Iphone by now to get emails on, that's something you may want to look into. Realize with most of us who have busy lives in the daytime it is not always easy to get to a PC, so having it in your hand helps a lot.

I wish your stance was like that across the board hobby wise.
The ladies I saw were always highly reviewed, reputable, and verified ladies. Most of my overnight and multi hour sessions so far I have had were great, Its just the lateness factor that kinda makes a callback a concern....pending of course shes just that damn good lol.
It seems from the general consensus the general wait time for outcall appts is considerable which is very unfortunate due to the preparation. I have become accustomed to it because it was all too common for me. It does suck though and its definitely a supreme pet peeve but as long as it isnt NCNS i guess I can grit my teeth n bear it.

As a general rule in my experience outcalls have been late most all of the time. How much varies from 30 min to 2 hrs. If they don't have a reasonable excuse I don't repeat.

Unless you have a SOLID reason...a reputable provider should never be late{or any later than 15minutes}!

i am notoriously late for everything in life, not just the hobby. i have no excuse. i think it's in my dna or something. if i give myself an extra half hour to get ready, it'll take me 45 mins, if i give myself an hour, it'll take an additional 15 mins. i think i move in slow motion or something. my family has learned to tell me the function is gonna start 1 - 2 hrs before it actually starts to get me there on time.
yes it sucks, i know, but at least i keep you updated on my progress. no excuse, i know, but what can i say. i suck sometimes but i'm working on it.
i've noticed that i'm getting better at it since i've been preggo. with all the dr's appts & classes & things i've been attending over the past 6mos i've seen a definite improvement in my time management, so i'm hopeful about the future.
also i noticed that when i'm in school or working at a 'real' job, my time management is good, but when i'm not doing anything that has a consequence for being late, time management goes out the window

Thanks for you valued input everyone. And Annie, this isnt an us versus them thread I assure you. So far the general consensus of some well known hobbyist here pretty much backs up and mirrors my experiences with this which are considerable and in the majority for the ladies I have seen thus far.
I hope it changes , but if not I can at least understand better.

I have ran into the I'm not ready ready yet can you give me 15 minutes more on incalls. As far as outcalls I have been very lucky (apparently) because the ladies I have done outcall with have been on time or early (thanks April) which is good.

I am always on time, but usually do incall. As providers, we deal with similar scenarios.

How long are you open to waiting for a late client? Its somewhat similar I guess but you as a provider ultimately control the result whether you choose to wait for him or not. Im curious to know though.

i'm notoriously late for EVERYTHING but not appointments with friends. i have friend come visit me at my place, and i prep several hours in advance to ensure that i have an hour just before to catch anything i missed.
this question of timeliness leads me to ask: how much of a factor is professionalism in a hobbist's opinion of a provider?

I think if the provider is notorious for having a good rep BCD wise all is somewhat forgotten and forgiven from what I have seen from guys posting on board. There was one lady on nola aspd just the hardest to reach even after you set a date from many guys admission. But because she garnered so much fanfare and reviews guys were wiliing to jump through hobby hoops of fire to maybe see her or get a rare phone answer.
Its a factor for me because of outcall preparation and the hours I book. But I can understand why others hobbyist primarily incallers would not be too overly concerned either way.
