I have a special gent in Iowa who will dress in his cowboy clothes & boots with hat when he visits...and I reciprocate by doing the same for him
then in Houston I have a gent that wears suspenders/kilts and different fun boxers just for me
it is that lil touch that makes me adore them so!

For the newcomers to the hobby:
Your appearance is part of your communication toolbox... I feel comfortable wearing and looking clean cut, without fashion or personality statements. The feedback is always positive from providers team who need to make a quick decision about a prospective client within the first few minutes. ("profiling" for their safety assessment).
Just sharing my experience for others who need advice. Most of the players here, know this stuff anyway.

I usually go hobbying after work so i'm usually professionally dressed. I can't say if the girls like it one way or the other, but I do know if me and some friends go to a gentleman's club it gets me a lot of attention. I had to learn to take my tie and jacket off before coming in to the club or else you have a big bulls-eye on your back. Also, before Dallas banned smoking indoors it was a pain in the rear to have to dry clean everything so often. I mean the shirt and slacks I get after one wear, but I was having to dry clean my ties after one wear :P.

When I knock on your door wearing over-alls, a straw hat and carrying a hoe (the 'farm equipment' hoe), we'll see what you think.

I make it a point to dress nicely when I see providers. I'm lucky in that I clean up nice. To me, it's a matter of respect.
If you're going to worship, you should wear your Sunday best.

Most times I'm hobbying after work so I stay slightly dressed up, but I'm really suit & tie except Fridays.
I think of it in terms of a provider making a quick assessment as well, so even on weekends I'm not too too relaxed; I'll go for jeans instead of shorts and wear shoes instead of tennis shoes or sandals. However, cologne is ALWAYS present and Degree is kicking..........."fresh & clean" seems to be most important message to convey.
No need in wearing a suit if it doesn't hide your underarm odor.

I recently saw a gentleman in matching underwear and socks. Unintentional or not, I wanted to take a pic. It was so awesome.

I've only showed up in shorts one time, midJuly on a Saturday...to wear a thing else would have created lots of questions. I usually hobby after work, so if I can I stop my the gym and shower ...if not I shower when I arrive and before I leave. I also bring my own gym bag, has my towel and my soap...no new fragrance of a new soap.
The first time with a new provider I get a weird look, but that is just me....when I first hobbied the provider did not have a clean towel, no offense but I have no idea who else used it or how many times...so I carry my own. BTW that provider is not on my list of favorites either.

I've often worn a uniform of a certain type when going to a gentleman's club. I've found that it does tend to attract attention from a special kind of lady. But I always just throw the whole jizzy mess in the washer when I get home--never even considered the dry-cleaning option.
