I believe that CNN is correct, but it is also true that Obama requested authority for similar action against Syria in 2013 and was turned down by Republicans.

What's ironic is that China was one of the countries listed that opposed the attack on Syria. President Xi was informed AFTER the fact during his visit to "The Southern White House". Awkward!! Can you guess what Trump was doing the day after the attack? Playing golf...

But the question that can always be asked is why should the U.S. get involved? Trump made it crystal clear during the Presidential campaign that "We cannot be the world's policeman." We invaded Iraq to get rid of nonexistent weapons of mass destruction and have lost over 4,400 soldiers. About 32,000 wounded. Syria, and the world, would be better off with Assad gone, depending on who replaces him. But at what cost to the U.S.? The bombing of the air base in Syria was a symbolic gesture. Planes were taking off from the struck airbase the next day and the same city that was hit by the chemical attacks was hit again with "normal" bombs.

We can put replacing Obamacare and lowering taxes on the back burner for now.

Being the strongest superpower, I believe we have an obligation to help the people being slautered. If we can help and dont, then we are not much better than the ones doing it.

I couldn't care less about trump. Didn't follow his campaign, or any campaign for that matter. I can see how his followers would be upset. But I think he did the right thing and should continue it.

Trump loves to golf. He owns golf courses. Yet being the liar he is he couldn't help but lie and say I won't go golfing. I will hardly leave the White House. Knowing that wasn't going to happen. Obama golfed ZERO days in his first 100, Trump has gone golfing over 17 times. Trump is on pace to spend more on traveling in one year than Obama did in 8. That's on top of 1 million dollars a day to protect Melanie because she doesn't want to be around the guy. And even better, the secret service is charged a fee for staying at his resorts so we are paying for that too. Yet none of his supporters will admit the hypocrisy. It's crazy. This guy flips on everything and they make themselves look stupid trying to flip with him.

President Trump spotted golfing in Florida again!


President Trump was quick to criticize then-President Barack Obama for golfing, but that didn't stop him from hitting the course for the 16th time over the weekend.

The President was spotted golfing at the Trump International Golf Club in West Palm Beach, Fla. Sunday, according to reports.

Trump, wearing a white polo shirt and a red cap, left for the golf course around 9:30 a.m., according to White House pool reports. He was also seen hitting the links there on Saturday.


Like Obama, the current commander-in-chief is an avid golfer. Trump had regularly blasted Obama for golfing while in office, including a time when he criticized the former President for hitting the golf course instead of consulting with lawmakers about Syria.

"PresObama is not busy talking to Congress about Syria..he is playing golf ...go figure," Trump tweeted in 2013.
