Tall women and heels?

I too am 5'9" and when I wear heels, I'm about 6'1". I like to be looked UP to!

I recently backed out of a date with a tall (5'11") woman who would have towered over me in heels. I remember seeing Rod Stewart walking with his model wife and she was walking in the street whilst he was on the curb so their height disparity wouldn't be so noticeable in the paparazzi's photos. I thought that was silly, but now I'm not so sure.

I've heard it said that height is a psychological advantage, which is why subconsciously men who are not completely confident will not be comfortable with a woman who is taller. Being 5'1" I have not once had to face this dilemma (even in heels), but because of that, I've never had the opportunity to feel the psychological shift in advantage, either.

I've often wondered if part of the tradition of dancers wearing sky-high platform heels comes from the desire to keep psychological control in order to deter men from feeling superior and trying to push their boundaries...

But to answer the original question, I think that for every man that would be intimidated, there's another one behind him (regardless of height) who will think it's the sexiest thing he's ever seen. I've seen very petite men next to 6'+ women with the biggest grins on their faces because they felt like they had the arm of the most desirable woman in the room. It takes all kinds.

I think these are good observations.

My only caveat would be that it's not just men who have these feelings. Some shorter women do not like to be towered over by their partner, whereas some either do not mind, or like to be in the arms of the tallest/largest man in the room.

Same thing with taller women. I've known many that felt height in their partner was one of the number one qualities they looked for, whereas others felt much more comfortable with a man who was shorter than them.

It's just an individual taste.

However, to reiterate what I said in my original response to the thread, the great equalizer is confidence. I simply do not think there is anything in this world sexier than confidence. Although I guess there are folks who don't find that attractive, either, lol, so there you go.

the various choices of providers are incredible. One of my favorites is 5"10' and has yet to wear heels

i love the heels to start a date with and can be by sexy foreplay to take them off and do a little foot play, and I can only go up from there

overall, I do like the taller ladies, being tall myself, makes for a better fit

I cater to the baser instinct (there's a shock). When I see a tall woman in heels, the first thing that crosses my mind is What might it be like to have those long legs wrapped around me as we make love? The second thing that crosses my mind is What will it take to find out? I'm only five nine, but I have no problem at all being with, or being seen with, a statuesque lady. There's just more of her to love.
