Would it be considered narcissistic if I put this in the HOF thread.
It might make a great sig line if Brooke ever decides to retract her awesome testimonial.

Of course not all of my posts should be in the hall of fame thread, everyone should hit the like button each time they read one of my pearls of SHMB wisdom. I am a golden god... wait that wasn't narcissistic either was it? Just sayin'

There should be a "useless post" button right next to the "like" button.

Could we call it the "dislike" button? On second thought I think some people think we have that one already the RTM button.

It's gay as hell but if it puts a crimp in dorks' +1s I'm in favor of it.

So tempting to hit +1, seriously couldn't agree more, it's a Pepsi generation thing and some of us oldsters are just going to have to deal. Then once again accept that MRHAPPY was right. No matter how much it pains us.

Yeah, I am!
WTF? You're trying to get in the ministers pants just before he performs our SHMB marriage ceremony.
On second thought, that's actually funny as hell!

I think you are supposed to use 'LIKE' button. I believe its goal is to eliminate all +1 response. I wish they call it '+1' button.

pro and con buttons only increase board animosity - and even create new cause for it.
Participant x attacking participant y because he/she thinks participant y gave him/her a no vote.
Funny thing is, participants never know who votes for whom - except for the votes they give themselves and their friends, as these functions are easily abused.
So, the attacks and counterattacks can be completely gratuitous

Yeah, I have to agree with Rafe on this one.... any type of "Dislike" or negative connotative button as such would only be counter-productive...... Almost as unproductive as the "Like" and "Rate this Tread" aspects already are.........
If you want to put a "+1" button to keep from the +1 button, then call it as such, and maybe even associate the handle that hits the "+1" button.... otherwise it is just more clutter to get in the way of reading up on all the drama/ThreADs/and otherwise back and forth bickering!
