Left lane is for passing. It's as simple as that. However, most people driving are not courteous, they do not understand this simple concept because they are only thinking about themselves.

Best thing to do with these idiots, taligate them until you pass them, then flip them off as you're passing while side swiping their car in the process.

Personally, we all should be walking or, at least, taking public transportation. Regretfully, cities in Texas, such as Dallas and Houston, have lame public transportation options.

When I lived in the Chicagoland area, it was nice taking the train between the suburbs and the city. Good public transportation in the Chicagoland area...except in the wintertime.
