Would have to be under $125K ($250K jointly) to qualify.
For people who get a Pell Grant, they / parents or individually cannot make more than 30,000 each year to be eligible. It's weird to me that you all think this is helping out super high earning families and all. While I think there should have been an alternative for helping those who paid FEDERAL loans back, such as a 5k tax incentive, that would atleast made it palatable to some on the right; or those who feel that helping out poor people to get educations, so they dont continue to be poor, but it's really about appeasing the greedy RePTurds who can only think about what's in it for them. Taxation in general isn't legal, till they made it legal. Loan forgieveness isn't legal till they declare it legal. And those who think that a 125k is a shit ton of money, are poorly informed. LIfe is like a shit sandwich- the more bread you got, the less shit you taste.

This a fucking slap in the face. My daughter took a couple of underpaying jobs to help pay back her loan. When she finally got a job that pays well, she finished off what we didn't. My son just about has his paid off. So why the hell can't these crybabies who get a degree and can't get a top paying job in their field go and work waiting on tables, stocking shelves, etc. until something breaks? Hope everyone who voted for this dipshit is happy.

So, you choose to avoid debt & start a business - screw you…
Pay off your loans responsibly - screw you…
Take the GI bill & service of country - screw you

But choose to major in “gender” studies & pile up debt to live in your parents’ basement - you hit the lottery!

Fuck all these deadbeats. How these people making $100K a year look others in the face like those nurses aides who change seniors' bedpans for a living or drive a truck or work the railroad or stock grocery shelves or deliver their Amazon packages and say, "You, yes you, give me $10K." It's immoral to make those who did not go to college - or those who paid their bills and loans to pay for these other deadbeats. It is fucking immoral !!!

And fuck that bullshit about this is helping the poor. NO - that is yet another libtard lie

Studies Show Biden’s Illegal Student Debt Scheme Is Welfare For The Rich

According to an analysis of Biden’s plan from the University of Pennsylvania out Tuesday, such a wide-ranging bailout will come with a price tag of $300-$980 billion for American taxpayers. Furthermore, the university calculated, “Between 69 and 73 percent of the debt forgiven accrues to households in the top 60 percent of the income distribution.”

The school’s conclusion is supported by prior data analyzed by the liberal Brookings Institution in 2020 as Democrats vying for the presidential nomination touted similar loan forgiveness as central to their platforms.

According to Brookings, “the highest-income 40 percent of households (those with incomes above $74,000) owe almost 60 percent of the outstanding education debt and make almost three-quarters of the payments.”

“The lowest-income 40 percent of households hold just under 20 percent of the outstanding debt and make only 10 percent of the payments,”

Meanwhile, students who took the loans are far better equipped to pay them off than many other American taxpayers. A typical worker with a bachelor’s degree is likely to earn nearly $1 million more over their career lifetime than the same person with just a high school diploma.

It's a slap in the face from the libtards to all Americans who have done the right thing, paid their own bills, worked hard to pay off their own debt, etc.

Every American should be fucking outraged at this bullshit. Blue collar workers like truck drivers, plumbers, electricians, nurses aides, garbage men, factory workers, etc, etc as well as responsible American of all walks of life who worked hard to pay off their own debt are being FORCED TO PAY OFF THE DEBT OF THESE DEADBEATS BY SENILE BIDEN AND THE LIBTARDS

Who is gonna hire the Doctor, or Lawyer or scientists, or artist, or media specialist, or history major.....

Who didn't exist because they didn't have money to afford that education?

Or is that how Repturds feel about repositioning the great replacement of only ppl they think are valid. Who fucking made you anyone to judge others. Fucking REPTURDS think they know what's best only bout immediate economics of sorts.

If you ever took out a loan for anything but instead paid cash, you are a moron.

If you did take out a loan it was based on faith of repayments. Which students DID enter into with deliberate intent to repay.

If you ever were late on a payment due to no fault of your own, Berry would like to cut your balls off. He doesn't see that investing in ppl, just like houses or stocks might be a speculation, but it usually pays off in dividends.

He doesn't care about your field of study as long as he can shit on it, or tap the back of his hand in applause....thinks he's the emporer of all things repturdian.

What has happened is that an administration has decided that judging people by their potential vs only their current dollars or payment history has been compromised by a pandemic. The courage that requires is WAY more than most "cuntservatives" would be willing to consider. They would rather stand on the heads of those who are drowning, in order to feel superior about themselves

Good luck judging everyone...

I don’t care how you justify it, but it’s unconstitutional (Nancy said so) and a blatant and pathetic vote grabbing attempt.

Utter libtard bullshit. A Doctor, a lawyer, a scientist, etc can afford to pay back their own fucking debts. Why do you want to support deadbeats? Are you a deadbeat yourself?

When a person borrows money, they are making an agreement to pay it back. Not to be a deadbeat and pawn it off on other people.

Now you are just making shit up yet again. No one ever said people had to pay cash for everything. Loans are fine - but YOU need to pay back what you borrow instead of forcing hard working blue collar workers and responsible white collar workers who paid back their own loans to pay back your owns as well

Don't be a fucking deadbeat

More bullshit - no one ever said people can't study whatever the hell they want. Just don't borrow money for some ridiculous gender studies or art history or whatever degree, not be able to find a job and then whine and cry and make other people - you know the hard working responsible ones - pay back your fucking debt.

Eyecu2 is saying he supports deadbeats over all responsible Americans who pay their own debts. Eyecu2 wants financial handouts from others. He is essentially laughing at all of you truck drivers, HVAC workers, factory workers as you pay back the debt of deadbeats. That is the libtard mindset personified.

CRIMINAL

"debt forgiveness is personal for the Biden admin...Collectively, those 30 senior White House staffers owe as much as $4.7 million.

There is more outstanding student debt in Washington than in any other city..."

The only person I laugh at BX2 is you. I respect all trades, and to that point have made referrals to people on this board for trades people. I also respect "professional" professions and even non degree folks. I treat the janitor same as the CEO. All jobs are good jobs. But the job you have selected for standing up on a soapbox to condemn anything but what comes out of Fox News is the only job that I would laugh at, and laugh in your face over.

So you are called out on your post for posting a bunch of misstatements and for standing up for deadbeats over hard working responsible Americans - and because you can't refute what was said, you choose to resort to personal attacks. That is sad.

Default Yeah right

Payroll Protection Program Loans given to rich businesses that didn't have to pay them back are a slap in the face to those who didn't get one.

Trump tax cuts are a slap in the face to those who didn't benefit from them.

Jesus providing fishes and loaves to those who were hungry were a slap in the face to those who caught their own fish.

Yawn. You do realize that both those were laws passed by congress. HUGE difference compared to an illegal action taken by a Senile President. I don't agree with many things passed by congress (including PPP) but they make the laws. Not a corrupt senile President.

Please learn the difference
