"Our dime" has been in it since the Europeans left, and it will be in it as long as this Country is in existence. There are a number of reasons for that ... most economical.
The bottom line is if the Isrealis and Iranians go toe-to-toe we'll be there before the dust begins to settle to clean up the mess......we will have "boots" on the
glass before it cools and aid being hauled in to help medicate and feed the casualties.
So far Obaminable is publicly saying the right stuff publicly...
as long as that is all he is saying privately as well ... it effectively gives the green light to Israel and confirms a country's RIGHT to defend herself. It sends the right message to other countries in the region who might be tempted to pile on Israel. If he holds the line and remains firm on his stance it will facilitate a small confrontation and limited time period. If he starts being vague and equivocating while talking out of both sides of his mouth ... it will expand and get much nastier.
Let the Egyptians broker a deal.
