I remember being in the Astrodome for the Texas Sesquicentennial. Its was Bum's first return back since his coaching days. As the Cadillac convertible carried him around people cried and shouted out "We love you Bum."

Not Bum's fault that one of his best teams came one game short of the Super Bowl because they didn't have instant replay when Mike Renfro CLEARLY got two feet down in the right corner of the end zone in Pittsburgh in 1979! But I'm a 49'ers fan so what do I know.
