If you choose to donate a item, you can choose a link and either send a online gift card or a site to store item.
The cost of my trip is paid for via sponsorship.
Also, used dvds are welcomed as well.

Thanks so much but I would really prefer to donate for tax purposes. If you would kindly provide the organization and their website, I would be happy to give handsomely to support their cause and hopefully sponsor more people to go one trips like this. The more hands, the better!

I can vouch for Kaylee's sincerity. We've spoken about her passion and her upcoming trip. If you spend 5 minutes with her you'll know this is the real deal. She's a smart woman with a passion and goals.
Kaylee - PM me which e-mail address and I'll send an online Walmart card.

I will be living in a shack, shitting in a outhouse and taking cold showers.

And how is that different from the everyday life of the average Texan?

I know Costa Rica is a little more exotic than Corpus Christie, but they do use volunteers at the Padre Island National Seashore also if you like camping on the beach. I've done photography with them years ago recovering the eggs and then the release after hatching, pretty neat, but it is much closer if travel cost is a factor. Ridleys are their primary species.

Don't get me wrong when I say this... I 100% respect having a dream and a goal for your life. Heck, I have a kind gent that is helping finance my college so that I can attain my dreams. (Which, by the way... if this is what you want to do with your life eventually, why not work towards a degree in the field?)
I can shed a little light on some of the flack that you are getting. When you posted the thread about being sick, of course people came together in a big way to help out. Nobody wants to think of someone doing without basic needs. I myself had to do something similar a few weeks ago. It is life, it happens. A lot of us don't have anyone to lean on outside of this community.
But- within 2 weeks of that, you posted the first thread about Costa Rica. So, that tells us that although you have NO money put aside into an emergency fund in case something happens and you cannot work... you are planning a trip out of country, valiant reason or not. This is foolish. While I myself don't have much of anything in savings right now, I'm also not planning on any trips out of country. It is called priorities.. and if you don't plan on doing this forever, you should consider saving and doing the things that will get you towards that end goal (education, bill reduction, savings).
Mad respect for chasing your dreams, but you've got to understand why some of the gentry aren't as jazzed to help you with this as they were to help you when you were truly in need.

Why does a provider ask for financial help to be able to get by when she claims she is desperate or wants to go on vacations and not wanting to provide? Because there are a lot of stupid ass guys who will donate to her cause and get nothing out of it but a thank you PM if that, and to ask for charity for nothing in return on a whore board is well, brilliant on the part of a provider when she can get a a few saps to donate their non reciprocal gift. If I wanted to save the turtles, I would donate directly to their cause on a legit website, not sponsor a provider to go on a somewhat vacation trip so she can.
I understand when a dire emergency comes up, we all get them, and the good people of Eccie will help out if they can, but threads like this makes the ones who really do need the help less believable.
