They'll end up doing something that just kicks the can down the road a year or so.
There was no GOP ass kicking. If there was the Dems would have control of the HOR. I thonk the sequestration is the best idea.

Defense cut don't bother me in the least. No question its a completely bloated black hole. It will throw a lot more people into the unemployment hole when many of the govt contracts get scrapped, but thats the breaks. Those Lockheed engineers can work part time at Wal Mart, or Target if they are the more upscale type.

I said it before, they just need to gridlock and let it all go over the cliff. We'll soon see who was right. The sooner the system crashes and burns, the sooner we can collectively begin fixing everything.

Is that a bad thing? I think not! It was the best sustained economic period during my lifetime.
Your talking about Bill Clinton right?

But your forgetting 2 things....

Yep he had higher taxes....but his health care plan fell on it's face and the republicans made him cut spending.... right?

Now if BO would put the kibosh on his own Obamacare and actually cut expenses like was done during the Clinton years...Obama might have something!

But he doesn't.

He just wants to tax and spend.......that doesn't work.

Obamacare is the biggest crock of shit piece of legislation ever. Obama probably would squash it if he could, but he didn't write it. His only role is to push it through, know what I mean.

Here's an easy fix to military spending. Increase the number of troops and reduce the number of government contractors. I know several government contractors who get paid 4-5 times as much as an enlisted serviceman to do basically the same job. There are government contractors to support IT, provide food services, provide equipment maintenance, provide vehicle maintenance, etc. The reason these contractors exist is because there aren't enough military personnel to do those jobs. Whenever the media or liberals cry about military spending, the first thing they want to do is reduce the size of our armed forces. This is not the right solution. We need to reduce the size of contractors and get rid of companies such as Halliburton.

LOL! Idiot. The deal was tax hike for spending cuts - just like the deal YOU'RE GOING TO SEE.
