So what's wrong with the Sandbox?

Read this thread. The usual suspects on the right are screaming "my shit don't stink", and the usual suspects on the left are screaming, "my shit don't stink".

The fact is, all of our shit stinks. It's just we have gotten used to the smell.

Estench, of whom are you talking? I did post one thread that included complaints about the TSA in a list of other things, and possibly the hyperbole was excesseve, but I have never posted about the other topics. Don't confuse me with those others, that is part of the problem here.

1. The article linked by TTH made the rascist connection but, if you spend any time around just plain ol' Texas folks on constructions sites as I do, or on this site, or anywhere else "real" Americans congregate, one hasn't got far to go nor long to wait until all of the Obama jokes that are racist in nature come out - and that's just in the first 30 seconds. The "us vs them" goes waaaaay back and is grounded in what the article called the fear of the government taking working white peoples' money and giving it to non-working non-white people. Does it happen? Hell yes. Does is amount to the amount of money most people are led to believe it does? Hell no.

2. Yep, starting sh*t and disparaging anyone who disagrees as "un-American" or unintelligent, then whining about the blowback DOES qualify the whining and the whiner as a JOKE. Sorry. It seems to me that some of the manly righties are having a hard time keeping it UP when crosschecked.

2a. When people throw sh*t at the wall (4-5-6.. threads per day) just to see what sticks, they shouldn't be surprised to look up one day and see a wall of sh*t.

3. Lefty? Me? Nah, I prefer to roam the vast expanses of centerfield. Only those hanging out by the right field foul pole get center confused with left due to their vantage point. But, that's OK, we all know you guys would never mislabel (misname?!?) anything or anyone.

4. As a 62y/o white guy from these here parts (complete with the accent) with a decent income, not to mention the type of work I do, most people assume that I fit the typical demographic of a Texas "he's one of US" TP'ing righties. Well, in the words of Gov. Haircut, "Oops!" Sure get to see a lot of people behaving badly when they think they're among "friends" and like-thinking patriots.
