If you're in EP, there are some gems locals prefer like Panda, Roscos, etc. But I think Crave has the most universally liked burgers by out of towners.

I know you asked about burgers but in Lubbock their is a spot called the Rain Cafe..vest French Toast known to man kind...the service is shifty on the weekend because it's packed but that French Toast is the bomb. And the nai shop next door is the quickest and cheapest in town..
