The broad wording of the legislation is the issue hence DOJ warning Congress that it is unconstitutional as written.

Escort services should be ok, but sugar daddy sites will shut down out of fear pending final wording of the law.

Craiglist is attempting to show how far the broad wording extends by shutting down it's personals section. The breadth of places this law could apply could shutter even "legitimate" dating sites.

The law is very scary and Big Brother is trying to win the junk measuring contest.

Also be concerned by the CLOUD Act that's in the Omnibus Budget Bill the President signed today.

Many jurisdictions are arresting hobbyists just for showing up at a sting as it shows intent. The hobbyist will probably be cleared in court if he keeps his mouth shut and says nothing. Even then you still have to deal with the effects of the likely media shame train. Personal life, job, friends, neighbors, etc.

Heck the anti-abortion crowd wants to ban all forms of brith control as well. Abortion is the big target that opens the door to banning all forms of birth control. Bring back the days of the pull out method and women as breeding machines.
