Just a point - Medicare/Medicaid actually doesn't allow patients to go wherever they want. There are plenty of physicians who choose not to see Medicare/Medicaid patients so the pool of available providers for them to see is actually more limited than the rest of us who have private insurance.

The hospital part of the argument is kind of moot since you don't need any insurance to actually go to a hospital to receive care.

Run along to the other side of the bar, real men are having a drink on this side.
Yes, the ER is the free public school of healthcare, and it is undermined by the "vouchers" of Medicare and Medicaid subsidizing the private hospitals. I cannot believe you missed the obvious point.
As Judge Judy would ask. "Are you thick in the head?"
If healthcare were set up the way the liberals insist on education remaining to be set up, we would all have to go to under performing local public hospitals - get it? Instead, everyone including poor people, get "vouchers" in the form of Medicaid, old people get Medicare, and I/we can get it for free but don't have to put up with the fucking teachers unions/hospital unions and heavy handed liberal bureaucrats. Competition is good for consumers, bad for liberal unions.
Hospital are stuck taking everyone for free, but some are good hospitals, even in the inner city. They, like good inner city schools, could take vouchers because they outperform. Are you liberals afraid of competition, and loss of power? You really just like the political control of schools, don't you?
Doctors can opt out, much the way Beverly Hills private schools opt out.

And the "field" of available providers is getting smaller.

Are you saying that Medicare and Medicade are the most effcient forms of healthcare? Is that now WTF you are saying?

I have already explained WTF would happen. Go back and reread. We need to reform the public school system but not through vouchers. Just like we need to reform our healthcare system.

They won't be able to pay off their education when the reimbursement rate is less than their actual cost, which is the case in many medicare and medicaid allowances.

apparently you dont know ths facts ... as usual.

Obamacare mandates that Medicaid payments be raised to the same level Medicare pays doctors. While it varies from state to state, primary care physicians will see an average 73% pay increase. This will make it easier for new Medicaid recipients to find doctors willing to take Medicaid.

Actually, I do know the facts. I have a kid paying off student loans from medical school. I know firsthand what is going on with medicare and medicaid. You're the one who believes the Obama bullshit. But that is to expected from an Obamaton.

Idiot, the reimbursement doesn't cover the cost of the procedure. That's why doctors are refusing to take medicare and medicaid patients. When they take a medicare or medicaid patient, THEY LOSE MONEY, they don't make any.

You are really struggling with comprehension, aren't you? You need help.

what part of primary care Drs escapes you ?

now thats straight, your kid should thank Obie for all the new patients WITH insurance, that will cover procedures in an OR etc etc ... now he/she can gouge the shit out of Ins Co's and py off the student loans ..

primary or specialist, its a win win.
