Yes to Strip Steak at Mandalay Bay.
Delmonico for a American steakhouse at the Palazzo is great.
And also Bouchon is my favorite French restaurant inside the Venetian.

As far as steaks try the Golden steer on Sahara old school Vegas as well as the steak house in circus circus, even the top of binions as well as Oscar's

Seafood, go for hot n juicy crawfish and there Mexican type seafood near downtown its called Playa mariscos Escondido
And some great tacos go to tacos Los Gordos

But if u wanna spend the extra money on those celeb type places then yea everyone should go to one at least once just to say you went
