one of the mods clarified-i don't remember who-that when writing a review of a gal offsite, the proper procedure is to include the website-most of which contain nudity-but put the link in private tabs. can a mod clarify if that is the proper procedure? if it is, how is that any different from linking outside of a review in private tabs?

i don't care about the points. i'm just trying to understand the rule.

Boardman, i'm not trying to put a mod on blast. suppose it was say Darth but maybe Ike disagrees with that interpretation. that's awkward, right? what i'm asking for is a rule that is internally consistent and i can follow going forward.

suppose i write a legit review of one of my finds on LC, post the link in private tabs so the guys don't get mad at me, and Ike sees it, follows the link, and sees nudity on the gal's ad, and issues me another 10 point infraction for not following the rules. then i'm either gone or about to be gone. and yet i thought i was doing the right thing by not omitting the provider's webpage ad on the review.

i'm just trying to understand the rule. i'm not trying to stir shit up between mods. that's why trying to find the post doesn't make sense to me.

I made the statement that ambiguity exists in part based on your post. Ike categorically denies that there is any ambiguity if you read the rules.

If interpretations have been given to you, anyone or everyone on the board that are ambiguous or even contradictory to the rules as written then whoever made those interpretations or statements needs to clarify or reconcile the differences. It's not a matter of putting anyone on blast. You're making an allegation that ambiguity or contradiction exists. If you truly believe that bring it to light and I'll support your request for clarification. If not, drop it. It's that simple.

I for one would like to know what he did to step across the line?

From what I could find his last few posts were not emotive at all, nor did they fall foul of any of the guidelines that I'm aware of.... Perhaps some things were said in PM's?
