Nobody should be prosecuted for what they think. Not with this idiot in the Whitehouse.

Not necessarily. Nobody takes this president seriously when he wants to do as the title asks of his critics in the press.

The Supreme Court Confronts Trump’s Challenge to the Separation of Powers

We risk a situation in which neither Congress nor the Supreme Court can check the President, because each says that the other should do it.

Trump claims that the constitutional power of the chief executive, combined with the Supremacy Clause, which makes federal law “the supreme law of the land,” means that no prosecutors may target him while he is President, even for investigation. Trump is also claiming that a criminal prosecution would distract him from doing his job, an argument that Bill Clinton made to the Supreme Court, in 1997, in an effort to have Paula Jones’s civil sexual-harassment lawsuit halted during his Presidency. There’s certainly something to the idea that it’s very difficult for anyone, let alone a President, to perform his or her job while facing prosecution or even a civil suit—but the Supreme Court unanimously decided against Clinton, saying that, while lawsuits over conduct from before a Presidency may distract from executive duties, they are not barred as a matter of constitutional separation of powers.

As one of his biggest critics, I've wanted his head taken off. And I would not be shy to tell him to his fat face.

Fuck him.

So the question, should those who criticize President Trump and defend China in this current crisis be prosecuted, and imprisoned if found guilty?

Background:

The Constitution of the United States in part defines treason as "adhering to their Enemies, giving them Aid and Comfort."

Writing for a unanimous U.S. Supreme Court, Justice Oliver Wendell Holmes declared in Schenck v. United States (1919) that “[w]hen a nation is at war, many things that might be said in times of peace are such a hindrance to its effort that their utterance will not be endured so long as men fight, and that no Court could regard them as protected by any constitutional right.”

The Sedition Act of 1798 criminalized the "writing, printing, uttering or publishing of any false, scandalous and malicious writing or writings about the government of the United States."

The Espionage Act of 1917 criminalized attempting to cause insubordination to the war effort, willfully attempting to cause insurrection and obstructing the recruiting or enlistment of potential volunteers.

The Sedition Act of 1918 prohibited Uttering, printing, writing, or publishing any disloyal, profane, scurrilous, or abusive language intended to cause contempt, scorn … as regards the form of government of the United States or Constitution, or the flag or the uniform of the Army or Navy … urging any curtailment of the war with intent to hinder its prosecution; advocating, teaching, defending, or acts supporting or favoring the cause of any country at war with the United States, or opposing the cause of the United States.

In 1951, the U.S. Supreme Court upheld the conviction of 12 people for Communist Party activity. The Court wrote: “To those who would paralyze our Government in the face of impending threat by encasing it in a semantic straitjacket we must reply that all concepts are relative.”

I say prosecute Obama and Fauci. Obama for giving the Chinese 3.7 million to do research to make this virus and Fauci for giving out false information on this dam thing.

yet another libtard Harvard law professor flapping her saggy titties and railing against Evil Lord Trump.

has this idiot ever heard of attorney-client privilege?: apparently not. this is why McGahn can't be forced to testify and never will testify. every Justice on the Court including drooling Ruthie knows this is a cornerstone of the Rule of Law and the modern legal system. to violate this tenant would disrupt the legal system completely. any lawyer who meets with a client that has retained them can't be compelled to reveal private discussions. when the Court upholds this fundamental aspect of our judicial system are yous gonna claim foul? probably. you'll claim Trump packed the court with right wingers who are bound to him. not so. even the libtards like drooling Ruthie and Sotomayor the stupid won't rule against this. it won't be 5-4. it'll be unanimous. why? because if they rule against attorney-client privilege they themselves lose that privilege meaning every case they ever tried while practicing lawyers would be open to them being forced to testify about what was said by their clients. do you really think they want that?

also this idiot Harvard hack seems to be ignoring many previous rulings by the Court that uphold the rights of a citizen not to be investigated without a reason. in other words .. now pay attention here .. this is important .. you can't investigate someone for the sake of investigating them. where exactly did this hack Harvard dumbass cite any evidence of a crime for the subpoena od Trump's financial records from Deutsche Bank? point it out if i missed it. same for his taxes prepared by Mazars and any banking records from Capital One.

this is classic witch hunt just like Trump says it is.

now about getting in Trump's face and telling him off .. is this before or after the Secret Service break off both your arms while handcuffing you for attempted assault of the President? if you ever get the opportunity do send us a post card from your holding cell to let you know how the jail food is.
