635 in mesquite may not be bad, but 635 east of the high 5, makes getting to mesquite a pain.
However, one could travel down GB and go south on 78.
Perhaps you could find a place off of 78. I don't think there is a Four Seasons or anything, but I think there is some nicer hotels as you get closer to firewheel.
That may be too far for you, EW.

There are an incredible number of people who trek into downtown Dallas from rowlett or even Hunt county. You may see business from that area if you setup in mesquite.

As stated, LBJ from Skillman all the way down past LaPrada and onto I-30 is the pits, period.
Unless it's not rush hour or it's a weekend. And even then the traffic is bad. [Not as bad as other cities in the US and other cities in the world but still bad, period]
I've sent you a pvtmsg w/ one possibility.
Best of luck in searching for a den for desires.

If you're downtown—or south of Mockingbird/NWH—going east is a much easier drive than going through all the congestion up north. (And yet, I still drive up north.)
On the rare occasions I go to Garland or Mesquite, I find it only takes 10-15 minutes, and is stress-free. One question should be—where are the hobby-goers coming from? That's probably another reason so many providers are up north.

Mesquite is too far.. I consider myself one who will travel farther than most, but East Dallas is my limit.. especially now, as the temps increase.. I find my willingness to travel to a session cut by 5 miles for every 10 degree increase in temperatures.. 55-65 degrees is the sweet spot, if you want to write that down

Hey Liz...hope all is well. I'm a Tarrant County resident and Mesquite is akin to the other side of the world for me. But if you get anywhere close to downtown or even a bit west then sign me up.

I don't mind going to Mesquite especially to visit fine ladies in nice gated apartments. Check out the gated appts. Some nice ones there. Town East is good area in Mesquite near the Mall, but not familiar with motels. Come East to Richardson. Lots of fine ladies to choose from. Nice hotels like the Wyndum, Marriott, Hawthorn Suites, Holiday Inn and Express. I'm talking Campbell, 75, Collins, Coit on the West is way up there.

I used to "entertain" in north Garland and I was within a half a block of Richardson. The location was close to Campbell and Bush. I'm not in that area now, but I DO miss it and might return, if need be.
I'm not looking for ladies although there certainly are some nice ladies in that area!!! Smile.
Thanks for the intel.

Last evening, without meaning to but I was running errands, I found myself on LBJ and around Forest and Greenville.
It was only around 7:30'ish, was headed East, and it was stop and go traffic. I'm not in Mesquite but damn ... I was aggravated. And wondering, once again, about options.
I wonder if anyone goes to Rockwall? Could that be a better location? Seems even further out but it's not too terribly far from where I'm located, either.
All of this input is just REALLY appreciated! Change is difficult and I'm trying to discover my new "normal" right now.
And the PM's have been great! THANK YOU! I'm trying to answer all of them this morning!!!
Warmest regards,
Elisabeth

Just my opinion, but maybe worth considering a trial run to see how it goes.
Welcome back btw...

Hi Kitty!!!
Thanks for sharing with me your thoughts. I remember, years ago, when I made Garland my incall location, I got a lot of flack. People suggested that no one would visit me in Garland, and that it wasn't a safe area to play in, etc.
But like you suggested above, I made it my own and boy ... I'm already missing north Garland.
Maybe I'll try just ... well, giving it a try. Not sure.
I was never really gone ... just very inactive for a few months. My situation isn't going to allow for the last minute appointments that back when, it was just easy to offer. And that is REALLY going to cut into my bottom line.
Sigh. Will just have to "see."
Oh, someone asked me if I had discussed these changes, and gotten opinions, from regulars. Yes and no.
Like being a hairdresser, some will follow you where ever you land, and others will go in a different direction. There is always quite a bit of attrition in this business even when you have a great base of friends/clients like I have always had. Seems normal enough.
Again, thanks Kitty. Hope all is well with you!
Sincerely,
Elisabeth

I'm getting out my slide-rule calculator to try and figure this out.
On a serious note, it would be cool to have an interactive map where you could A) look up a provider and a red dot appears on a map of the general location, or B) if you want to hobby by proximity, if you don't have time for a long drive, you can select an area of town to see what providers are there.
…in my 22nd century dreams.
