I was stationed near Kaiserslautern from 2000-2006. The whore houses/strip clubs were still a plenty. But the SOFA and UCMJ changed in 2004/2005 making it illegal for service members and government service civilians to visit them. There were some really hot women. Many of them Eastern European and it was common practice for the girls to get the modeling gig story to get them there, only to have the madam or pimp take thier passports so they couldn’t leave. So human trafficking is a real thing.
