I managed to watch the first 30 minutes, I thought it was excellent and funny. I now have to get on with my life, but I may well come back to the videos.
My only thought was - what would the speaker have to say about the nuts (of all shapes and sizes and colours) on this forum?
I remember watching an American wife swap, the rich family made money by selling 'positive thinking' books, the poor family wife got very angry, saying that other poor people are being duped into buying this rubbish to make bastards like that rich, why don't they actually go to a soup kitchen and doing something for poor people, or even better, try meeting some of them. From memory, both families learnt something.

Basically they are people that promote faith in faith not faith in God.
The belief that faith is a force by which all your hopes and dreams can be
realized if you can just exercise enough of it.
A kind of ordering God around to comply with their wants and desires.
It puts man on the same level as God while at the same time lowering God
down to our level.
They believe every Christian can be divinely healthy, wealthy, and prosperous,
and you can call these things into being through faith, but they seem to need
your money to get it done for themselves. It makes a kind of mockery of the cross
of Christ. Christ died so we can all have Cadillac's and million dollar mansions.
Someone please volunteer to read the link to Yssup.

Ok gotcha - thank you for the clarification!
So pretty much, it's the corruption of faith / the church into a money making scheme and the idea that you can have all of your dreams come true as long as you believe hard enough?

No, I would never defend any of your religious bloviations. I just find Whiny's wishy-washy, fence-sitting pontifications to be annoying at best.
He probably believes something deep in his heart. However, he doesn't know what it is, and nobody's been able to find his heart.
You on the other hand are still an asshat!

Yes, it's for all those churches where the preacher drives a Cadillac.

Yeah, the roots of a lot that they teach are actually based in the occult,
and new thought, the idea that you can manipulate the world and forces
that are around you. They also promote the idea that we are little Gods,
putting man on the same level as God where you can now depend on your
own abilities and are no longer dependent on the sovereignty of God.
Very much in the Gnostic frame as well with new special revelations that
would claim to cancel out the traditional teachings.
Many people probably don't know that a great part of the new testament
was written to combat the growing Gnostic Heresy that was gaining
prevalence even in the days of the Apostles.
The shortest link I could find that gives a pretty good overview.

Yes, I would encourage anyone who is interested in the subject at all to try
and watch all of them, they are sad, funny, and enlightening. the guy
speaking is very intelligent and articulate as well, he was born with
cerebral palsy and is not mad at God because he hasn't been healed
from it.
The videos are of a true Christian speaking out against these supposed
Christian teachers that have gotten out of control. Nice to see a Christian
that has the courage to do it.

It would seem that any good christian would take things in context.
Wasn't jesus killed by the Romans ? What chickenshit jew formed a militia to save the
Son of God? Oy, that's right....none. Maybe a few cried, but tell me.....
Which Jew loved Jesus so much that they would risk death to save him?
Best recollection is ....none. I haven't read that fairy tale since I was about 9 years old.
That's about the time I stopped believing in the easter bunny and the tooth fairy.
Please correct me if I remember things wrong.
So, why would a good christian shed blood to protect a people who sat idle and watched their prophet die without so much as a scuffle? And you think the Jews are bad asses? Pffft. Why would god make you the "chosen people " if your kind were too weak to lift a finger to help his only begotten son? Would you claim the person as favorite or chosen if they stood idle and witnessed your child pulled from hockaday and put her on a cross?
Im not a religious person, so I delightfully and disrespectfully submit the following;
Moham-mud can blow jesus while getting a facial from buddah.
Now ... I think ill go by a bible , a quran , a copy of mein kamph and a copy of the constitution. I'll then cut out all the pages... i'll past them togther into one book , shit on it... then burn it.. ill be kind and piss on it before they are toally ruined. Id be happy to send it to you so you could give it a proper muslim burial. Ohev!

At least muslims practice what they preach. Insult mu- HAM-mud and those illiterate
Fucks will actually kill you. That's why israel will fall without big bad USA catching their 6. Israeli Jews are like that one smart ass kid on the playground that acts tough because they have that "big brother" that backs them up.... what happens when big brother is no longer there?
My belief is that we should erradicate a religionists.
Religion is a mark of willful ignorance and a weak mind. Believers should have restricted breeding
privileges. ALL religions.

Jesus disciples (They were Jews) wanted to defend him by force, Peter took
up a sword to do so, but Jesus forbid it saying, should I not drink from this
cup that has been set before me.
John had said before, let us go that we may die with him, knowing what great
odds were against them and that they would all be killed.

Boujay,
Thank you for the lesson. Well stated, I respectfully recant my earlier statement.
Apparently , I spoke an untruth.
Maybe I should re read . Any highlights I shouldn't miss?
