Eh...hard to fault the Rockets or the Warriors too much for missing on this kid. Every team has (at least!) one that got away. Somebody (Portland?) passed on Michael Jordan to draft Sam Bowie. How'd THAT work out?

Les Wizarables (or Les Boulez, as they were then known) passed on Mark Jackson in favor of Mugsey Bogues.

Hard to say how long Lin's 15 minutes of fame will last but while it does, he has also spawned some of the more creative fan signs I've seen in a while. My fav is the one held up every time he breaks somebody's ankles with a cross-over on his way to a layup....

Meh Rockets has 3 PG with guaranteed money this year, 1 was a border line all-star, a serviceable PG that will prob start for another team down the road and a former 1st rd draft pick. Least they gave Lin a shot, but there isn't enough room on the roster and 31 other teams could have picked him up. NY just happen to luck out that he pulled thru with a big game in a blowout game.
