Let's see... it annoys me to get texts/emails asking, "Do you swallow?" I feel like I should ask the guy if he's inviting me to dinner and will there be lobster? A message of, "I want to be 8," might be replied with, "I don't see that many a day."

This is why I prefer ECCIE and P411 gentlemen. They USUALLY (but not always) have some class, and a familiarity with proper provider etiquette.

No, I wouldn't call it being "sensitive" lol. If a Jewish person said its annoying when people ask them if they believe in Jesus all the time, I will not disqualify their sentiments regarding that question and call it "sensitive" when I've never stepped in their shoes. One, you are not black, two , you are not a female provider. Noone is gang-banging over the question or crying a river- so there's nothing to quite "get over" - its just a question that never goes away ... basically its a turn-off (what the thread is about), and is always popping up - whether during the date or over the phone. Either way, as a first impression, it makes one look bad. It would be different if we had conversed and warmed up to each others vibes...

Using an Irish lady in comparison - unless she has a thick accent and promotes her heritage in her ads - does not seem to connect to me - she will appear as white and it will likely not be brought up often (correct me Allison if I'm wrong babe!).
Also, if she is Irish, she is IRISH. Being Irish is a heritage, not a color to which one attempts to alienate you from being American. I am American, like anyone else. I do not represent Africa (African-American), my family has been here since forever...therefore to just focus on something petty as what black pussy is like confuses me. I just want you to see this isn't another "Tragic Black Girl / Woes of being Black" complaint.

I think we've all had those emails asking for a discounts. A particularly creative email I received was from a first timer who happened to be a graduate student and on a tight budget. He explained that he was looking for a regular provider to meet with. Unfortunitely, he could not afford my hourly rate, and asked if I would be willing to give him a discount (on our first date) for being a regular. Don't forget, he was planning on being a regular so he was good for the discount. LOL. So essentially, he was asking me to give him a discount for being a regular, even though he wasn't, but only because he planned on being one. Does that make sense? You have to give him credit for being creative!
