I will. My purchasing power declined in 2019. Static income, increasing cost of living in part due to Trump's tariffs.

"National labor market data over the last few years show a strong, high-performing economy, but those big-picture numbers do not include microeconomic indicators that reflect the more difficult reality of many Americans’ financial lives.

The results highlight the continued economic pressures many people feel, despite the nation’s low unemployment rate and record high stock market. Many Americans in this wage bracket ($75,000 or less) continue to struggle to balance work and family or make career changes that could give them more financial security. "

People across the board are not benefiting from the economy equally.

That's what Socialism and Communist governments are for so everybody can be equally poor.

There is suppose to be equality of opportunity not equality of outcome. Maybe people should think about careers instead of pumping out a half dozen babies and then wonder why they can't quit their job at Burger King.

Make a life plan using common sense. Choose a field with upward mobility opportunities and for pete's sake, try some family planning. That was not aimed at you SR

I recently traveled through several countries that are considered Democratic Socialist -- Denmark, The Netherlands, Sweden, Norway, Germany, Iceland, and Finland. Higher taxes than the U.S. but better benefits. I can't say that I performed a representative sample but the people I talked to like the system. Pay more for more security. And the poverty rates of those countries are lower than that in the U.S. I am not pushing Democratic Socialism but also not condemning it.

As for jobs with upward mobility. After I "retired" I went to work for a home improvement store for a year. Let's just say that the majority of the people in the store had very little hope of moving upward. Maybe to department head but that was it. They did not have a multitude of dependents. These are good people but limited for various reasons as to why they could not hope for "better" jobs.

I am in the opposite corner.

The personal earned income tax rate has lowered my taxable income quite a bit, putting more of my earned income into my pocket.

The corporate cuts are equally substantial. Our business has been able to upgrade machinery as well as hiring a new young man to train.

The embargoes have affect us to a degree. Our material and tooling cost are up because we are now buying more American. But that will level off.

I’m sure three are those who feel the Government could make better use of my money.

Each person is different as far as the economy is impacting their bottom-line. I understand fully how the economy has had a positive impact on you personally.

The average household led by a retiree makes $48,000 annually. Before taxes. That's not much in today's world. Most seniors live on a fixed income except for minimal social security increases. And there are approximately 43.72 million retirees in this country.

Well, I am 73 and have no desire to “retire”. From what I see of friends who have, it’s not all it’s cracked up to be.
