Well, it just goes to show you that there is hypocrisy on both sides.

The NAACP probably knew what a racist sumabitch, Donald was but they were willing to turn their heads and accept the millions when it was politically possible. Now that his rant is out in public, they must appear SHOCKED and decline the award.

Well, it looks like the new commissioner, Adam Silver, has decided to make the most forceful statement on this matter that he can.

Donald Sterling has been banned for life from the league and fined $2,500,000 for his racist remarks.

. . . There a lesson to be learned here about how a petty private argument can easily explode and become a huge public scandal in today's world and beware - what comes out of your mouth can ruin your life and cost you a fortune!

Another 'lesson' to us all, regardless of our station in life is that cameras and open microphones are EVERYWHERE and doing something stupid, speaking something stupid, it all can be recorded and literally shared with the world!

Sounds a bit New World Orderish to me. This whole story seems like a witch hunt. I actually have more sympathy for Sterling for the fact that he is being forced to sale his NBA franchise because his whore recorded him BCD? How Amerikan is that? Considering the issue, you would figure that a person would be able to say what they wanted to BCD without ridicule. But that only happens in a free society Heaven forbid if a black business owner has ever spoke of a Caucasian person in a racially motivated way BCD, it's time to steal their business, make a media circus out of the event. Now if Sterling went out and violently beat up a black person with 5 other white males for no reason, I would probably say he's racist. But to say a guy is a racist when he owns an NBA team, and his mistress is half black? WTF ever.

It still has not been determined if the NBA can force a sale. Even if they do force a sale, do not feel sorry for Sterling. He bought the franchise for $15M, they are now worth $450-600M. Nice ROI.

This is really a bizarre interpretation of what occurred here IMO! Further, many white guys fuck black or mixed black chicks on a regular basis and are as racist as they can be, including many guys who are Eccie members! A geriatric billionaire who buys himself a minority sex toy some 50 years younger than himself is more of an obscenity then it is proof of his acceptance of people who are black in heritage! This troll got exactly what he deserved for his hateful, intolerant rant, albeit some 20-30 years late!

We all have our own opinions but at the end of the day it will be Sterling who gets the last laugh as another Mistress will soon be taking care of his needs and his billionaire ass. What he said was hardly racist. I mean come on, I've heard much, much, worse said on the streets than that. The NBA needs to start suspending and penalizing "any" player who says a racial slur on the court even if it's not meant to offend the other person. I would compare this story to the Nazi persecution of the Jews.

Who in their wrong mind would want to screw Magic? A girl better triple wrap as to not get HIV. Sterling probably will be voted out based on the other owners not wanting to create a ruckus and I'm sure they will fight about it in court. However it is preposterous that a man would have to be forced to sale his business because of what was said in private, even if his comments are a bit distasteful.
