Not at all...but he is at least enlightened enough to read the material. Doesn't necessarily mean he subscribes to them or is influenced by them. I'm sure if I disclosed I read Pravda, I'd suffer no end of slings and arrows here.

Not really. I admitted I periodically read the New York Times. From our relative political points of view, whats the difference? NYT is further left of where I am than Pravda is of you.

The Lugners are an interesting family. They like scandals and to be in the media portrayed amongst them. They even have their own show similar to the "Kardashians" or acts like that.

I personally doubt Berlusconi will loose his job over her. But i am curious about the court proceedings.

You get a real newspaper, and read between the lines, and things become a bit more clear. The NYT reports that there are three aides that were allegedly procurers who may also be indicted. If that's true, and they are indeed indicted, then they can turn State's evidence in exchange for a light sentence, or even dismissal of charges, and roll over on Burlesconi. Then the prosecution somehow become viable as you have some evidence to link the payments and the nights spent at his villa to an actual quid pro quo of money for sexual favors. (As I had understood it, the gal denied the charges. She would be the other obvious source of testimony on the quid pro quo issue.)

2. he's 74 and its too much for anyone

Just because they did it at his villa doesn't prove he hired them. There going to have to prove more than that. Of course the worst thing in the world is to read about anything remotely complex in a newspaper. Journalists are lazy, and often don't know shit from shineola about the law.

There are telephone protocolls. That is what made the blurb really ugly. There were escorts (or women) discussing details of what they did with Berlusconi. That was the reason. And Ruby got into a police control and bailed out because she was "Ruby". That is how all of that got into the ugly details.
