The owners/booker pay other people to rent these apartments so they are "insulated" from risk. It's part of the overhead of running a studio.

On a side note, I'm conflicted about not being on this list myself. Honestly glad I'm not but there's a part of me that's like, "What? I'm not cool enough?"

Could be they can’t get APT due to the legal status.
Could be that’s how HaeJin aka. Heaven set it up that way from the beginning.
