Google DNS: 8.8.8.8
Google DNS: 8.8.4.4
OpenDNS: 208.67.222.222

Already did this on the first day I noticed the problem, tried again just now, flushing browser cache and flushing local DNS. Using Google DNS servers.

Before the update I had no issues seeing attached images. Now I can only see linked images.

I'm not very tech savvy so I haven't attempted the suggestions for a fix. However, I only use my tablet to browse and switched from my home wifi to my tablet cellular connection and it still doesn't allow me to view the embedded pics. Like everyone else, this has only happened since the update.

I am also having problems viewing pictures. Tried both with chrome and IE on the same PC. Tried clearing cookies, did not help.

Did you guys also try the basic of disabling images in thread and re-enabling them?

Same problem here also. Can't see the pics. Everything was fine until the up date. Nice if you would undo what you did.

Anybody wanna volunteer to work directly with a representative from our server host to try and track down where your problem exists?

The problem is an obvious result of the so called up date. Whom ever did whatever to improve the eccie experience fail way short. Sounds like many members have the same problem. Please fix as the pics are much of the enjoyment of eccie.

Just piling on again, I am still having this issue.

As an example, in this thread, http://www.eccie.net/showthread.php?t=1310654, I can see the cat picture posted by intldjgig, but not the picture posted by Provider JadedAngel. This is occurring for both I.E., Chrome, and my Heatseek browser (which is modified I.E. I believe). I can see the provider pic on chrome on my android phone from that thread. I can also see pictures that have been posted in reviews, but not ones the ladies are posting in their ads.

This implies to me that it is an issue with displaying of attached files rather than images in general as images linked from other hosts seem to be fine. Images in the ladies showcases are also showing up fine for me.

EDIT: Just realized my first post had some erroneous information.

The images I am "missing" seem to be the ones that appear in an "attached images" box. I checked some old threads, and I can no longer see those images, so while this just occurred within the last several days, it appears to be affecting all "attached" images that have been posted on this website.

I can see, however, certain other images that aren't posted in the manner I just described. For example, many of today's ads in the Dallas forum don't have the little paperclip next to the title, and the visible photos embedded in the ad are not inside an "attached image" box.

FWIW, I tried this both on wifi and cellular, iOS and Mac OS X devices. I'm curious if the same thing is happening in Microsoft and Android environments.

Hope that helps, St. Chris.

Yep, it is an issue with attached images. If you add them in a post using the IMG tags, they show up fine, but if they are attached, they don't show.
