What’s sad is that nothing will happen. When governments become so corrupt, the nobles are never held accountable until the people take matters into their own hands. Without a Marie-Antoinette moment investigations are meaningless.

One can only hope this time will be different. Trump is a different cat. He doesn’t have friends to protect. It appears Barr came back to restore the DOJs credibility. We’ll see.

Don't judge a book by it's cover

Avoid judging a book by it's cover. Instead, judge it by how hard it smacks them upside the head when thrown back at them.

scrof·u·lous
adjective
Morally degenerate; corrupt.
"a scrofulous, grim, darkly funny burlesque on art, celebrity, and love"
(A pedant might add it is a derivative of scrofula, but let's not go there during these days of covid-19 induced respiratory disquietude.)

Scrofula is a medical condition - and gave rise to the scrofulous term.
Scrofula is a condition in which the bacteria that causes tuberculosis causes symptoms outside the lungs. This usually takes the form of inflamed and irritated lymph nodes in the neck.
Doctors also call scrofula “cervical tuberculous lymphadenitis”:
- Cervical refers to the neck.
- Lymphadenitis refers to inflammation in the lymph nodes, which are part of the body’s immune system.
Scrofula is the most common form of tuberculosis infection that occurs outside the lungs.
Historically, scrofula was called the “king’s evil.” Until the 18th century, doctors thought the only way to cure the disease was to be touched by a member of a royal family.
Fortunately, doctors know much more now about how to identify, diagnose, and treat this condition.

u.s. intelligence said close the case on Flynn as there was nothing
I think that was on jan 4th
jan 5th (very next day) obama holds a meeting at white house:
all the people at that meeting knew they had nothing but obama didn't want the case dropped
comey says well what about the logan act?
jan 12 unmasking by biden, jan 12 appears in wapo david ignatius
then later strzok stopped the case from being dropped and came up with the scheme to entrap Flynn, you know the same scheme comey bragged about getting away with
so there was comey with the logan act proposal on jan 5th and then again claiming credit for catching the trump white house off guard with the fbi agents "interviewing" Flynn, who, oh no, you don't need a lawyer

Haha... he had to go there, didn't he?
At least a picture helps everyone understand why we must quarantine the swamp before we drain it.

yes
your post reminds me of depictions in art or literature or in film of satanic evil, wherein the beautiful temptress seducing the protagonist into an awful coupling is, in sudden off and on manifestations, revealed in all it's hideousness
now that is obama's washington

Typical. You are competing with 9500 for the title of Master of Misdirection.
Besides the fact, the proven fact that Trump was following the advice of Dr. Fauci who in March was telling Trump and the American people there was no reason to change your behavior. Pelosi in late February telling San Franciscans to join her in Chinatown, no need to self distance or wear masks. Are you aware of any of this or does your political bias drive you to make false statements?
All of that aside, what do any of your remarks have to do with Flynn and unmasking? Do you have anything to add on that matter? Do you have any intellectual curiosity in the matter of somebody committing the 10 year felony of releasing classified information to the press, unmasking the name of an American who broke no law but was accused by the press of being a Russian asset, a traitor which BTW the Judge in his case accused him of and Flynn's lawyers should have asked for a mistrial but since his lawyer's were all beholden to Eric Holder...... Damn, Michael Flynn, who told you to hire these jackals?
So tell us why we shouldn't be concerned that a law was broken, a law that will get you 10 years in prison? Why a law that can easily be used against Joe Biden and company if, God forbid, he should become President.
Imagine that Biden wins cough, cough, and we find out that between the time Biden wins and is sworn in, the Trump administration asked for every conversation, from every person in his transition team and gives the contents of those conversations to the Washington Post and new York Times and they print them which of course they would never do?
Want to guess what Democrats would be saying? Not you of course because you don't care about such things, right?

I hope people take notice of what a lousy job they did and lose business. When a new lawyer comes in and uncovers material the previous lawyers miss and make a case for dismissal good enough that the DOJ reverses it's decision, the former lawyers lose credibility and Powell wins big time.

Can FLynn sue Covington law firm for legal malpractice? Holder had to be involved in Flynn's case.
