I'm not surprised by the 48% cited in the study. I have to agree that the purpose of the hobby is to be able to spend time with a beautiful and sexy woman whom one is attracted to and be able to walk away. However, for me, I also enjoy being able to connect a bit beyond all carnal and bodily desires. The ladies I have seen more than once are truly engaging and intelligent which coupled with an amazing body is the most sexy combination one can find...

You gotta remember a lot of these guys don't know how to talk to women especially baby boomers and Generation X guys. It's just not something they had to do growing up so I imagine they don't know what to say or they're just overly nervous and thus start some of the most basic ice breakers or conversations. Talking shouldn't be the main aim anyway when paying but being charismatic and a good conversationalist starts in the RW and most may not have those connections.

I digress but it's not what I was implying; was just making a general observation; I'm chill but will admit I've had some of the hottest, select, and most popular ladies (as in plural) I won't commit to the cities either ;-) {ohhh I do love the raving about how beautiful they are this and beautiful they are that} straight fall in love with me; baby talk; commitment talk; even marriage talk as in just talk but you name it. I hobby because I truly enjoy being with a younger (30ish) sexy lady that has energy, sex drive and will do what I so sorely need done for as long as it takes to get me to the closest place to heaven on earth which is a long strung out orgasm after being on the very edge for a very long time.

Going back more than 20 years to my first p4p experience, I've played in many ways for many reasons that changed as my situation changed. I can't say that seeking an intimate emotional connection has ever been one of them.

The ones that like the GFE (kissing) and even the bare stuff (BBBJ) usually are trying to emotionally connect with the whore. The other guys use women for their bodies. It's easier to do without the kissing and the bare stuff during the youthful days of the hobby but as one grows older that need to connect can grow stronger. However, it can be the total opposite for some men especially in a passive aggressive and guarded city like Houston. I prefer not to kiss because it takes away from the session and really doesn't enhance the session for me. It's all fake to me. LMAO. Baby boomers and Generation X people came before the onset of the internet and cell phones. I can understand why today's youngsters will lack social skills but I hardly see that in the "old timers." BTW, charisma is retained only by a few persons in the real world. Most people especially in the States are naturally gregarious but utterly clueless and cliché in their sincerity which makes them apparently so cheesy to most people. FAKE comes to mind.
