I find that there's no set rule of which length of session is a standard best, but to just approach the hobby as one would approach your appetite: sometimes you snack, sometimes you eat a regular meal, and sometimes you feast. Book appts accordingly.

...... adding to that, the fun of the hobby is not by asking the wrong questions or taking out the fun out of it, hell, just play safe and try different providers, different sessions, times, different positions, just go out and have fun, now don't try to be a "shopper for bargains, cause you will get what you $&@ for to hobby, well, the hobby it's a luxury, no fun if you approach it any other way! Just my opinion!

In my opinion, you should start whatever way you are most comfortable. Typically and hour is the best way to go if you want to have more of a connection with a provider. If you could care less about that then the BNG or Hhr would suit you best.
