So Armstrong is a quitter as well?
I don't think so.....he wont fight the charges because he knows they are true and team witnesses against him are overwhelming ...Armstrong is countjng on his die hard admirers to carry his water pail in his PR battle to save his image.

As well as the whole cycling sport.
Of course the French are behind this, but the US Anti Doping Agency is as well.
And for the record, USADA has test results that Armstrong FAILED. The USADA case against Armstrong is overwhelming - and Armstrong knew it.

Again shit all they have is testimony of dopers that were caught.

Armstrong statement:
There comes a point in every man's life when he has to say, "Enough is enough." For me, that time is now. I have been dealing with claims that I cheated and had an unfair advantage in winning my seven Tours since 1999. Over the past three years, I have been subjected to a two-year federal criminal investigation followed by Travis Tygart's unconstitutional witch hunt. The toll this has taken on my family, and my work for our foundation and on me leads me to where I am today - finished with this nonsense.- Lane Armstrong, Austin, TX

Yep, he passed every test every time they asked. I think the USADA guy Travis Tygart is just jealous because he's young, hot, rich and famous.
Go Lance; I glad he told them to shove it.

According to USADA; Armstrong has FAILED several tests.....so to say he has passed every test everytime is inaccurate. Unless you believe the USADA is lying.
Why is it that everybody is lying except Lance Armstrong ?

The only claims I have seen from USADA was that they were in possession of blood tests that were "consistent" with erythropoetin (EPO) use. They very carefully did not say that the tests indicated actual presence of EPO, or of the breakdown productst that differentiate exogenous (injected) EPO from endogenous (the body's own production), and I have not seen any USADA comment detailing what made the tests "consistent" with EPO use, what indications were present, in any one test or in the total series.
Whirly, would you be TERRIBLY upset if I asked you to post links to these reports you seem to be claiming you've seen, that actually say Armstrong failed several tests?

Grueling Event
This marathon event is not like casually riding your bike in the park on a Sunday afternoon.
The Tour De France is a grueling 23 day event that requires enormous amounts of stamina, tactics, psychology and working with a team.
. . . Not many athletes can even endure the torture and then having your medals, titles taken away and banned for life is an extreme punishment!

I would question any bodily fluid sample that would be several years old.
Where did this USADA come from anyway? Never heard of them until about 18 months ago. Now they singularly have the power to strip titles? Let's hope they do not examine Babe Ruth's DNA and rule that due to their results 200 home runs and 423 RBIs are stripped and the Yankees did not actually win several World Series.

You are correct; I made the leap that when the USADA report says "fully consistent" with blood doping, combined with the statements of Peter Flax (Bicycling Magazine) that there was difinitive evidence of Armstrong injecting EPO, a banned substance.....and multiple team eye witness reports, ...a reasonable leap that the USADA has sufficient proof..

Could Armstrong have been getting other types of shots? A b complex or b 12 injection? Or maybe a shot for another condition? I doubt the syringes would say EPO on them.
