Mitt Romney wrongly claimed that it took 14 days for President Barack Obama to brand the assault on the U.S. Consulate in Libya a terrorist act. Obama yet again claimed that ending the Afghanistan and Iraq wars makes money available to "rebuild America," even though it doesn't.
A look at some of their claims:
OBAMA: The day after last month's attack on the U.S. Consulate in Benghazi, Libya, "I stood in the Rose Garden and I told the American people and the world that we are going to find out exactly what happened. That this was an act of terror and I also said that we're going to hunt down those who committed this crime."
ROMNEY:"I want to make sure we get that for the record, because it took the president 14 days before he called the attack in Benghazi an act of terror."
OBAMA:"Get the transcript."
THE FACTS: Obama is correct in saying that he referred to Benghazi as an act of terrorism on Sept. 12, the day after the attack. From the Rose Garden, he said: "No acts of terror will ever shake the resolve of this great nation, alter that character, or eclipse the light of the values that we stand for. ... We will not waver in our commitment to see that justice is done for this terrible act."
But others in his administration repeated for several days its belief that the violence stemmed from protests over an American-made video ridiculing Islam. It took almost a month before officials acknowledged that those protests never occurred. And Romney is right in arguing that the administration has yet to explain why it took so long for that correction to be made or how it came to believe that the attack evolved from an angry demonstration

Rotflmao. He didn't get his ass beat. But I do agree the time thing is funny. When o loses I'll so enjoy coming back to the time thing and saying, haha Obama even got almost 4 whole min and it didn't help.
Of course it would have been sweeter if the right hadn't made such a huge deal out of it right now.

The kinds of questions asked by the crowd were retarded at best. Did you see that kid in the beginning asking what Romney was going to do to ensure he had a good future? I so wish Romney would have said , really? It's not the presidents job to ENSURE ANYONE has a good future. It's up to you bright one. America is the land of opportunity, not ensured futures. Damn college bratty little sheep.
Edit: I heard the rose garden speach 4 times. He made a blanket statement about acts of terror at a very odd time in the speech. He didNOT directly call what happened an act of terror. All that would just be BS traded along party lines IF Obama would have directly linked that act to terror INSTEAD OF A FILM when he talked about again and again. I've heard all the audio on this. If O would have NOT repeatedly said it was the stupid video, he would have been fine.... But, he did... Many times.

Terrorists in the middle east are radical conservatives who want things to be the same don't like progression wants the government to leave them alone and considers anyone who disagrees with them to be a enemy.Sound familiar?

LMAO. LIke how all the rightys swore up and down that when Obama got elected the first time that he was going to institute the "fairness act" and force all the right wing guys off the air? Remember that???
Paranoid fear is the world of the right.
After the way Bret Baier was so disrespectful to the president, he stopped dealing with Fox and I don't blame him one bit.

Devastating Ad coming out; TeamObama will regret that they tried to make a lie of Benghazi, then recast the lie as a bigger lie in Debate 2.

If Obama knew it was an act of terrorism on 9/12, why did he spend the next fourteen days telling everyone it wasn't terrorism? Obama has been caught in a lie, pure and simple. This one can't be spun out of.

It is the President's responsibility IMHO to ensure that EVERYONE has the best CHANCE at a bright future. The kid being semantically off by one word does not make it "retarded". For a "LovingKayla" you sure can harsh on people sometimes. Studies indicate that there is now more upward mobility in most countries in the E.U. now than in the U.S. and until we make significant progress in education at a minimum that isn't likely to change anytime soon in the "land of opportunity" (not so much as it used to be).
So, the incident in BenGhazi has to be either a protest OR an act of terror and not both? That seems a bit stupid even if it was one group protesting and then committing an act of terror by attacking the consulate (not an embassy like some of you stated). If it was two unconnected groups it could definitely be both a protest and an act of terror using the protest to camouflage it initially. If your intelligence community tells you there was a protest and got it wrong (can anyone say WMD anymore?) initially then of course you are going to refer to the protest aspect. Since the pols weren't on the group in Benghazi they would have HAD to rely on the reports and intelligence they had at the time wouldn't you think?

That doesn't have context and it isn't disrespectful to laugh at answers that are absurd (or a joke which is much the same) but doesn't mean he was laughing AT Ryan. You are the ones who call other righties who don't toe the line RINOs and insist on calling the Democratic party the Democrat party as some sort of annoying snub. Bush even did it in his inauguration speech. Who is coarsening the culture now?
Do you deny that Lincoln, Roosevelt, Eisenhower and Nixon would be attacked and ridiculed as RINOs if they were alive today? Should I list some of their policies and achievements that the Republican party is now dead set against? for that matter your St. Reagan would likely be far too moderate for today's Republican party.
BTW, I did say some liberals do it, but not to nearly the extent of righties these days IMHO. Just asked why you all were so consistently disrespectful when when it used to be one of your values? It seems to be your way of arguing, especially when the facts go against you (not to mention just ignoring the facts).
