#17 - "Cyber Stalking" is a term that refers to the act of following another member around online. This may include persistent PMing of the other party, repeated ISOs about the other party, or excessive bumping of reviews or posting in threads about the other individual, whether it be positive or negative information posted. In any of these cases, whether staff deems that the behavior has crossed the line into cyber-stalking, or the "stalked" party complains to staff about the alleged behavior, staff will take the necessary steps to make it stop. Please avoid becoming involved in this type of conduct.
Please avoid any further sharing of your opinion about P411. I think the board gets it. You don't like them, and you have expressed your feeling about them plenty of times. Enough times to last a lifetime. FYI, unlike the membership at large, as a moderator, I know why you have a new identity and why you no longer have your original account. Here is my best suggestion to you: You have decided that you will use the site after all. Since you have already decided on that, please focus on more positive things that will ensure an enjoyable hobby experience for you..Do that and you will have a hassle free stay on ECCIE. The repeated bashing and cyber stalking of everything P411 comes to an end now. If you have any questions where something is not clear to you, send me a private message and I will be glad to offer details.

I love P411 and just joined a couple of months ago and love the way it is set up , so simple to see clients from there and using it now 99% to see clients. So many newbies on eccie with no reviews and no post , just joined etc and such a hassle to get them screened P411 IS the only way to go for the men and women i think.....i hope it does not change to much Gina!

I love P411 too... I promise it won't change too much. Any changes that are made will still ensure that P411 is as drama-free as possible.
I do NOT believe in slaughtering a person (provider or client) publicly when an issue arises. It will never be an option on P411, I can promise you that. It doesn't mean that there isn't a time or a place, it only means that P411 will not be that place.
Always,
Gina

Critiquing an organization is not cyber stalking. You may not like what he has to say, you may even have the right to censor what he says, but at least don't hold up a rule that doesn't apply and use it as justification for arbitrary exertion of authority.
BTW, I have nothing against or for P411. It's a site that serves a purpose for many and holds no value for others. So please don't label me a "cyber stalker" and take away my interwebz posting abilitays because you don't feel I'm respecting your "authoritay".

Good thing that it is the moderators who enforce the guidelines and for the most part only do it when people go over the line.If you don't like the guidelines or the enforcement of them, then why did you agree to abide by them when you joined the site? If you have an issue with this, the solution is very simple, take it up with the ownership of the site.
And understand this, as long as you don't become obsessed with one particular account on here, you are free to enjoy your internet experience. Let's just not confuse your enjoyment, or his, being equal to breaking every guideline out there.

The power of the English Language compels you! Last time I checked, a website cannot be a "member" of this board. The owner of a website can but the website itself cannot. Therefore critiquing a website is not technically a violation of this rule.

I have no issue with the guideline in question, just this current attempt at enforcing it. To challenge authority is not a bad thing when authority is being used incorrectly. You're wrong here. You have the "power" to do and say as you wish (as long as the "owners" back you up) but that doesn't change the fact that you are technically wrong here.
Now if he's "cyber stalking" Gina then by all means, shut him down. If he's being critical of her website and he's being an ass about it, shut him down but don't defend your decision with the wrong guideline. But if he has a bone to pick with the website that Gina owns and he's voicing his displeasure in an adult-ish manner, stop worrying about it and go police the other more caustic "guideline" violations by other members (provider and hobbyist).

I would consider 19 posts out of 50 spamming the board so I will ask you to please stop. Oh and my asking you to stop falls under rule 14 that you have now been given direction and we ask that you follow those.
In other words finds a new crusade, because the windmill will be there after you are gone.
#14 - Our moderating staff monitors the forums with the goal of keeping threads on track and on topic. Occasionally we may issue specific instructions or direction to a poster and we ask that you respect those instructions and follow them. Disregarding a moderator's written instruction or repeating a violation for which you have been warned will most certainly result in penalty.

While I really appreciate the support (every fair maiden can use a gentlemanly hand when in distress!)..... please know that I really am not terribly bothered by the "negative nellies".
I'm sure you fellas have much better things to do than worry about who doesn't like P411 and has to make it known. I love you guys, but if someone goes on a crusade against P411.... please don't worry too much about it. It gives me an opportunity to respond, and to show who is behind the site and how and why we do things the way we do.
The mods have far more important issues to deal with, that I know is true! Thanks for all of your hard work.... I just don't think this is worth the effort in this case. I'm fine, P411 is fine. We can handle it (this time! lol).
Always,
Gina

Ah JLC, I see that you are on one of your crusades once again. What exactly made you mount your horse this time? I know you have only a small fraction of the whole picture visible to you. I strongly suggest that you always take that into consideration. Because what you don’t know is a lot.
All unfunny jokes aside, to me P411 and Gina are interchangeable. Guess who I contact when I need assistance to settle a dispute between two members on ECCIE, and I do not have all the elements at my disposal? I contact Gina, not her website. Gina in turns puts the resources of P411 at our disposal to help solve the puzzle. So yes, P411 and Gina are one and the same to me. I do not believe this needs to be broken down and analyzed to try and find a flaw, but if you must be pedantic about it, so be it.
So does Gina’s cooperation with ECCIE affords her special protection from critics? No.
Most recent evidence:
Why are guys afraid of P411 ?
P411 ( closed because it deteriorated beyond recovery )
Go ahead and read how much open criticism and support she received in those two recent threads. Did you see staff interfering with the posts? Is she being defended in those two threads? Since you are accusing me of defending her and /or her website, why don’t you explain to everyone why I never made an appearance in those threads? Compare the lively exchanges on those threads with the dull nature of the post by LickHer in this thread? If there was a thread where I would attempt to be a white knight to her, it definitely wasn’t this one. And she does not need anyone defending her.
The issue here is strictly ECCIE related and I will call it cyber stalking, because I like it better. If you want to debate my choice and the technical aspects, don’t let me hold you back. I will not get hung up on the little details. And 19 out of the last 50 posts dedicated to this one cause is excessive and is stalking.
LickHer is a very, very special case, more so than the average member here. I can’t go into all the details, so I’ll be brief on this.
While doing some random checks a good while back I made a significant discovery.
The default moderation action would have been to terminate his membership on the spot, no questions asked.
I chose not to act on that, and instead decided to observe.. He may believe that he got one over on the staff but he is wrong.
I have not interfered with him. I have given him plenty of opportunities to get his opinions feeling and ideas out there. Everyone who vented on those two threads got everything off their chest and have moved on. You don’t see them on this thread, do you? He is the only one who will not let it go and it is time for him to move on. If ECCIE is willing to forgive and forget, we expect him to be a model member.
He has the potential and seems to possess all the tools to become a valuable contributor, but he is getting hung up on petty stuff like this. If he will accept the help, and be willing to cooperate, then I personally will be more than happy to help him every step of the way. Expecting him to be compliant is not a huge burden considering we chose to look the other way.
For the record, I do not mind criticism when the person offering it knows what he/she is talking about. In this particular case, don't take that as a slam against you. Re-read my opening paragraph for reference. No one would be able to know all the details behind the curtain in this instance.I have no doubt you are very capable of sharing suggestions that may help improve the atmosphere around here, just not in this instance.
So from your limited view, I have defended Gina and her website. From where I stand, I protected his right to continue here way before this thing was posted. I guess I am guilty of both.

While you may view a website and a member as the same, they are not. One offers services. The other owns the service provider. This board is about critiquing services. Had you called him to the carpet for cyber-stalking Gina, I wouldn't have given two hairs. But since you weren't precise and you did misuse a rule to call someone to the call to the carpet, I stood up for his right to critique P411 (the website), not Gina (the member/person).
In any event, precision in applying rules is important, otherwise why even have rules. Simply rule by strength of force. In any event, signing off. My point was made, whether it was received or not. The cat's dead and there's no sense beating it anymore...DRINK all you Monty Python fans.
