24 Live another day (even if you've never seen the past 8 seasons it's really easy to follow as it's only 12 episodes)

+ 1 on the walking dead . Haven't seen the Americans yet but I hear good things about it. Btw the HBO show oz was awesome, watch that and you'll never want to break the law in fear of being thrown in jail.

The Killing on Netflix was good and I think there's at least three seasons.

Excellent shows but not in the horror genre:

Ray Donovan (arguably the best drama on tv right now - Showtime)
Banshee (lots of sex and violence, great show - Cinemax)

Yeah I liked the killing but it's far from 8 seasons.

24 is multiple seasons and very good but it's not a dexter style show.

You'd prolly like the following but it's only 2 seasons so far.

The walking dead I love that show its 4 seasons so far but what a show!

I really like sons of anarchy too.
