That is practically false and misleading information on the whole "killing babies that survive an abortion", first off, late trimester abortions are extremely rare. Most doctors do not like doing a late term abortion and it is only done under extreme cases, like a mother who may die if she gave birth to a baby at that stage, etc. Secondly the procedure for a late term abortion generally involves punching a hole through the fetus skull and vacuuming out the brain. I need to look it up, but the procedure is pretty quick and no fetus would survive that.. if there were any signs of life it wouldn't live more than a minute if that after being pulled out. If a procedure like that has gone that far your not going to want to try and save it, as it would be futile, and asinine. If it even managed to survive longer than a few minutes then trying to save it could result in a living shell but brain dead baby. Does anyone really want that? No.

Some of these posts are idiotic and clearly demonstrates how little you all really know about abortions the procedures and what is involved.

Yeah; the question that Obama was asked was "in all situations, including late term abortion procedures"...........Obama didn't offer any qualifers to his pro choice stance.

Sensia you are so misinformed on this topic. In Kansas, which has become a haven for late term abortion, a woman as young as 13 years old can show up and say she is deathly afraid of having a baby. The doctor will give her the address of a "shrink" who will sign a statement saying that the woman's mental health is at stake. She will go to a motel room (if she is underage), a doctor and nurse will arrive to perform abortion. Or she will do it at the clinic if she is old enough. If an underage clinic does not enter the clinice then they don't have to report her presence or keep records. Google George Tiller.
