By the way, what makes you think anyone in this thread would be able to diagram anything? I have not diagramed a sentence since the 6th grade. I doubt that most here have done a lot of recent diagraming. Of course in earlier generations, like yours, more emphasis may have been placed on that skill. Thank you for reminding us of the lost art of sentence diagramming.
