Well CT, admittedly I haven't pursued the studio scene for exactly the reason you stated; it's harder to get into those than Harvard. But I have made every effort support the new amps, only to be disappointed at every turn. Higher initial prices, chronic upcharges, rushed sessions, frequent turnover, poor attitudes and terrible service. I just assumed from what credible info there is, that the studios were a better option. If not, then we really are in trouble.

Studios are priced a little higher, and you have to surrender personal info. That is a hurdle to cross itself, but the ensuing service is no better. I love the studios, but from my perspective the service is a little WORSE. For 2 big reasons: the propensity to upcharge for BBFS (yeah, I know, there is not always an upcharge), and the lack of a table shower.

Studios do win for ambiance, but That is not a priority item for me. But speaking of, Michiko does play ambiant, relaxing music. I heard a little Michael Bolton while getting my groove on Saturday

You get the same shower at a studio except your standing up instead of on a table, and you get two showers one in the beginning and one at the end. Studios don’t expect you to shower when you arrive, I’ve told them plenty of times I had just showered and the girls just skip it. Might also depend on how clean-cut you look and smell with the hug at the front door.

Not worth the hassle or nagging.

The way i look at it, is like dinner. What do i feel like at the time. I keep a contact list of cuisines and occassionally, feel like asian which currently isnt in my contact list.
