Now that I'm older I've learned to prevent the hangover by pacing myself with a nice scotch. If I'm drinking bourbon I only mix with water, nothing sweet.

Chuck Yeager tells a story about his test pilot days where he had way too much to drink the night before a test flight. his dad was there from WVA and Chuck puked and his dad asked him "You do this often, son, puke then fly?" ThrIVe IV drip bars have a cocktail specifically for hangovers. It includes saline, of course, for hydration and a mix of vitamins, pain killer(anti inflammatory) and nausea meds. They have a dozen or so places around Houston now I think. Probably takes about thirty minutes.

I've heard that BC Powder is the shit. Nasty as hell though. And honestly it really didn't work for me. Maybe if it came in a form of pills rather than powder it might be better.

BC powder is aspirin and caffeine just like Excedrin. It comes in a powder because some people believe it gets in your system faster since it doesn't have to dissolve as much. That's their gimmick.



I think if you held it under the tongue(sublingual) it probably would work faster but yeah the taste isn't the best. Just pouring it on the tongue and washing it down or mixing it in water probably isn't a whole hell of a lot faster than Excedrin. Maybe by a couple of minutes.
