Who can they draft better then Romo to start next year. Who can they sign free agent wise better for that matter. I agree they should draft his replacement but Luck aint coming thru the door so even though I'd like to see him replaced eventually I don't see it realistically happening anytime soon. Think about what QB's Dallas had between Aikman and Romo. Like him or not Romo is the best and only one to win a playoff game since Aikman and honestly he's better then 70% of the starters in the league and would have no problem getting signed elsewhere.

Good point. The can trade up. If Indy doesn't get Luck then Jones might go for him. They tried to get Kyle Orton because Kitna might not be back next year and they feel McGee might not be Romo's successor.. But you are correct that compared to a lot of quarterbacks, Romo is better, but unless he's consistent then they are not going beyond the playoffs. It's also not good when your head coach doesn't have confidence that his quarterback can carry the team if the running game is not working and they have to resort to a passing attack.
The new rookie salary cap makes it easier to trade up now.
Another thing, the last few games Dallas has won were against losing teams except for the Bills, but the Bills were starting a losing streak when they lost to Dallas. And we all know what happen with Arizona.
Right now I don't know who will be available in free agency that's good enough unless Indy lets go of Peyton Manning or trade him assuming he can play.
