What if you are currently unemployed or haven't been working for a while because of family related problems or other problems that prevented you from working. What if you don't work at all but you still get income coming in from your own business etc.

The alternative would be up the discretion of person doing the screening or asking you these questions. ECCIE doesnt require any of this personal data nor will we call anyones employers. There is no need for us to do so.
