She should not be defended by anyone - the fact that you can't simply condemn hate speech about anyone is actually the problem. By the way I don't think this is selectively a left ideology but simply somebody who is ill-informed and should not be in the position of leadership of a college of that distinction let alone a community college, or even a history class. Disgusting at the least, despicable at the norm!

Totally agree.. word salad needs to leave the building when it comes to this. Wordsmithing a solution is not a solution, but drawing a line against exclusion and hate is part of any institution of higher learning. No room for that baloney in postsecondary education. My 2 cents
