Just for clarity, it wasn't the evil war on terror that he (Obama) had a problem with. It was the shift of assets to Iraq, away from the hunt for ObL. Frankly, so did a lot of people I knew at the time. I was in the Navy, CB (SeaBees), and there was a lot of head scratching going on. We felt like 'Excuse me, we aren't finished here (Afghanistan).

Yes that's correct it was a massive shift in military resources from Afgahnistan to Iraq when Bush took over that doomed the war effort there.

I hear ya' Tiger those guys are AMERICAN HEROES and I'm sure they now have a place in American history that transcends all politics and partisanship! What great role models for our young people.
